Introductie

Voor een innoverend bedrijf in de metaalsector die bouwstaal en draadproducten produceert in Dendermonde zoeken wij een voorman.

Als voorman ben je hier verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren en aansturen van het productieproces in jouw afdeling. Je zorgt ervoor dat de productieactiviteiten soepel verlopen volgens de gestelde kwaliteitsnormen en productiedoelen.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je kan een aantoonbare ervaring voorleggen binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt een sterke technische achtergrond en werkt graag praktisch en hands-on.
  • Actief meewerken in productie en het onderhouden of afstellen van machines zie je als een pluspunt.
  • Je neemt vanzelf een leidersrol op en motiveert anderen door zelf het goede voorbeeld te geven.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels en bent in staat operatoren op een praktijkgerichte manier te begeleiden en op te leiden.
  • Je beschikt over een scherp probleemoplossend inzicht, blijft rustig onder druk en neemt doordachte beslissingen in veeleisende situaties.
  • Plannen, organiseren en prioriteiten bepalen behoren tot je sterke punten.

Functieomschrijving

  • Je stuurt dagelijks een team van ±5 operatoren aan in een 2-ploegensysteem. Je motiveert hen en springt bij in productie wanneer nodig.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het team en rapporteert aan de productieleider.
  • Je bewaakt de productieplanning en stuurt bij waar nodig en zet mensen, machines en materialen efficiënt in.
  • Je garandeert dat producten voldoen aan kwaliteitsnormen en grijpt in bij afwijkingen. Je ziet toe op veilig werken en naleving van milieuvoorschriften.
  • Je voert kleine herstellingen zelf uit en signaleert tijdig wanneer onderdelen preventief vervangen moeten worden. Complexe machine-omstellingen kan je zelfstandig uitvoeren.
