The posting

Voor een industriële speler in de Gentse haven — gespecialiseerd in aanleg en onderhoud van industriële pijpleidingen — zoeken we een Brigadier Piping die zijn ploeg met kennis van zaken én enthousiasme wil aansturen.

Jouw rol: Als brigadier ben jij de motor van jouw ploeg. Je zorgt dat iedereen weet wat er moet gebeuren, je werkt zelf actief mee én je bewaakt de kwaliteit en veiligheid op de werkvloer.

Je verantwoordelijkheden omvatten:

  • Het coördineren en technisch ondersteunen van jouw team (lassers, pijpfitters en monteurs).
  • Opstellen van de werkverdeling en opvolgen van de correcte uitvoering.
  • Mee uitvoeren van de werken en het oplossen van technische uitdagingen.
  • Controleren van kwaliteit en naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Dagelijks toezicht houden op de veiligheid op de werf.
  • Geven van toolboxmeetings en uitvoeren van werkplekinspecties.
  • Verzamelen van werkvergunningen en communiceren met de werfverantwoordelijke.
  • Formuleren van voorstellen ter verbetering.
  • Registreren en doorgeven van prestaties van jouw ploeg.

Je combineert technische bagage met leiderschap, en je voelt perfect aan hoe je een ploeg motiveert en aanstuurt. Verder breng je mee:

  • Een geldig VCA-attest (VCA leidinggevenden is een plus).
  • Basiskennis pijpfitten, lassen en isometrische tekeningen lezen.
  • Een eerste ervaring als ploegbaas of brigadier.
  • Sterke teamplayer, duidelijk in communicatie.
  • Goede kennis Nederlands; basiskennis Frans/Engels.
  • Veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn jouw vaste meetpunten.
  • Bereidheid om te werken in de regio Gent.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en een wagen.
