Op de locatie in Almere werken per shift 8 tot 12 operators, en voor 1 tot 2 lijnen geldt volledige lijnverantwoordelijkheid inclusief eenvoudige machineomstellingen en eerste-lijns storingsoplossing. De ploegleider heeft dagelijkse contactmomenten met operators en coördineert met afdelingen zoals inkoop, kwaliteit en techniek om een soepel proces te waarborgen. Veiligheid, orde en naleving van werk- en kwaliteitsinstructies zijn vaste aandachtspunten en er is regelmatig aanwezigheid op de werkvloer. De productieomgeving vereist nauwkeurige planning en snelle besluitvorming bij afwijkingen in het proces. De rol van ploegleider is gericht op het behalen van operationele doelstellingen, minimaliseren van downtime en waarborgen van productkwaliteit door toezicht en coaching van operators. In Almere zijn korte communicatielijnen met technisch personeel waardoor storingen snel opgepakt kunnen worden.
