Milliken werd opgericht in 1865 en is één van 's werelds grootste privé ondernemingen in chemische en textiel toepassingen. Op vandaag worden er bij Milliken 19000 producten gemaakt en dit met een personeelsbestand van 7000 werknemers die wereldwijd werken op 45 locaties. In Gent zijn we gespecialiseerd in productie van technical textiles, onder meer voor automotive industrie.

Jobomschrijving

  • Zowel de werking van de machines als al het toebehoren behoort tot jouw verantwoordelijkheid
  • Opmaken van de productiebladen en opvolgen van de kostencontroles voor machines zitten in jouw takenpakket
  • Je zorgt voor een correcte uitvoering van het planningsprogramma en voor het maken van alle producten volgens de juiste specificaties
  • Correct een overdracht naar de volgende ploeg in orde maken is niets nieuws voor jou
  • De afgewerkte goederen moeten verpakt worden en naar de volgende afdeling gebracht worden
  • Als teamleader sta je in voor de orde en netheid van jouw afdeling
  • Je ziet erop toe dat iedereen zijn PBM’s draagt en je verwittigt de preventie-adviseur indien er onveilige situaties optreden
  • Je participeert in het wekelijks auditgebeuren
  • A2 textiel of ervaring in textiel bedrijf (of gerelateerde activiteit)
  • Eerdere ervaring als leidinggevende en werken in een productieomgeving is een must
  • Sterke organisatorische en leidinggevende vaardigheden zijn twee sterktes van jou
  • Je bent bereid om in ploegen te werken (vroeg 5u00-13.15; laat 13u15-21u30)
  • Als leergierig en resultaatgericht persoon ga je mee aan de slag op de werkvloer
  • Je hebt een goed kennis van Nederlands en/of Engels
  • Je bent veiligheids- en kwaliteitsbewust.
