We moeten steeds beter gaan recycleren om afval als grondstof van energie te gebruiken, daarom heeft Imog ervoor gekozen om te investeren in een gloednieuwe bedrijfs- en grofvuilsorteerinstallatie (GV8) die geïntegreerd werd in de bestaande verbrandingsoven op de site in Harelbeke. We mogen dan wel met afval werken, om de installatie vlot en veilig te laten draaien moet deze er proper bij liggen en net dat is de verantwoordelijkheid van de polyvalent arbeider.

Je werkt enerzijds volgens een takenlijst die je van de teamleider zal krijgen, anderzijds neem je zelf initiatief om bepaalde taken uit te voeren volgens de nood. Je speelt dus een actieve rol in het garanderen van de orde en netheid van de installatie en het terrein.

Een greep uit je takenpakket

  • Wisselen van de sorteerbakjes van de sorteerders
  • Manueel uitgesorteerde fracties verplaatsen met een heftruck
  • Dagelijks reinigen van de machines
  • Vegen en vrijmaken van de vloeren
  • De machines stofvrij houden
  • Bij nood en drukte inspringen als manueel sorteerder
  • Je hebt ervaring met heftruck en/of hoogtewerker/schaarlift
  • Je hebt er geen problemen mee om in een omgeving te werken waar afval verwerkt wordt
  • Fysiek werk schrikt je niet af
  • Je werkt veilig en kan goed Nederlands begrijpen en spreken
  • Je stelt je flexibel op en springt bij waar nodig
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en neemt initiatief
  • Ervaring met het reinigen van machines in een industriële omgeving is een pluspunt
  • Technische basiskennis is een plus (zoals werken met perslucht, reinigen van machines en motoren, werken op hoogte,...)
