Die Österreichische Nationalbank in 1090 Wien, sucht zur Verstärkung des Teams 1 Praktikum im Bereich Data Science & Data Engineering in der Abteilung SPARK (w/m/x) ab Jänner für die Dauer von 5-6 Monaten (Beschäftigungsausmaß zwischen 50 und 100 %) mit flexibel vereinbarem Startzeitpunkt

Vollzeit oder Teilzeit (Befristung auf 5-6 Monate)

Ihre Aufgaben

* Mitarbeit bei Research-Projekten und der Veröffentlichung statistischer Daten

* Unterstützung bei der Integration, Verknüpfung und Aufbereitung von Daten aus unterschiedlichen Quellen

* Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von Datenanalysen und statistischen Auswertungen mittels Python oder R

* Mitarbeit beim Aufbau und Testen der Funktionen des neuen Datenportals der OeNB sowie bei der Weiterentwicklung bestehender interner Anwendungen und Systeme

* Mitarbeit bei der Erstellung, Strukturierung und Pflege fachlicher und technischer Metadaten

Ihr Profil

Das bringen Sie mit

* Laufendes Bachelor- oder Masterstudium in Informatik, Data Science, Statistik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder verwandten Fachrichtungen

* Gute Kenntnisse in Python und/oder R

* Grundlegende Kenntnisse relationaler Datenbanken sowie SQL

* Erfahrung mit Datenmodellierung, ETL-Prozessen oder Datenpipelines von Vorteil

* Interesse an (Meta-)Datenmanagement, Datenintegration, Datenkatalogen und der Dokumentation von Datenbeständen

* Hohe Daten- und IT-Affinität

* Teamfähigkeit, Flexibilität, Genauigkeit, Belastbarkeit und Verantwortungsbewusstsein
