Privacy Officer Waar kom je te werken? Dagelijks werken met persoonsgegevens vraagt om zorgvuldigheid, maar ook om praktische oplossingen. Als privacy officer help jij collega's hier goed mee om te gaan. Je denkt mee, stelt vragen en maakt privacy werkbaar in de praktijk. Denk je dat deze rol bij jou past? Reageer dan. De Regionale ICT-dienst Utrecht (RID) zorgt ervoor dat de medewerkers van de zes deelnemende gemeenten (Baarn, De Bilt, Bunnik, Soest, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Wijk bij Duurstede) en de Sociale Dienst Kromme Rijn Utrecht veilig en effectief kunnen werken. Daar hoort bij dat we de deelnemers helpen om zorgvuldig om te gaan met de gegevens van meer dan 200.000 inwoners en bedrijven. Dit doen we met een regionaal team van privacy officers. Je werkt in een team van de RID, maar voor één of meer gemeenten of de sociale dienst. Wat ga je doen? Privacy is geen papieren verhaal. Het speelt in alles wat we doen. Een privacy officer zorgt dat gegevensbescherming goed is geregeld, zonder dat processen vastlopen. Je adviseert collega's uit de hele organisatie en helpt hen privacy onderdeel te maken van hun werk. Je zoekt de balans tussen wat juridisch nodig is en wat praktisch haalbaar is. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's waaronder de andere privacy officers en de functionaris gegevensbescherming. Je staat er niet alleen voor maar hebt wel een duidelijke eigen rol. Je bent betrokken bij projecten en ontwikkelingen binnen de organisatie en zorgt dat privacy daarin vanaf het begin goed wordt meegenomen. Daarmee voorkom je dat processen later moeten worden aangepast of stil komen te liggen. Je helpt collega's bewuste keuzes te maken en maakt duidelijk wat wel en niet kan. Zo zorg je dat inwoners erop kunnen vertrouwen dat hun gegevens veilig en zorgvuldig worden behandeld. Tegelijk maak je het voor de organisatie mogelijk om het werk goed te blijven doen.
