Als Proces improvement engineer speel je een sleutelrol in het continu verbeteren, optimaliseren en standaardiseren van onze productieprocessen. Je analyseert prestaties, identificeert verbetermogelijkheden en implementeert duurzame oplossingen die leiden tot hogere veiligheid, kwaliteit, efficiëntie en klanttevredenheid. Je werkt nauw samen met productie-, technische en kwaliteitsteams en helpt een sterke cultuur van continue verbetering te verankeren.

Jouw taken:

  • Je communiceert vlot met verschillende afdelingen en voelt je comfortabel in een omgeving waar samenwerking tussen productie, techniek en kwaliteit centraal staat
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig, resultaatgericht en behoudt overzicht in een dynamische context. Een proactieve houding, hands-on mentaliteit en aandacht voor veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn essentieel
  • Je analyseert en optimaliseert productieprocessen
  • Je reduceert verspillingen (tijd, kosten, materiaal)
  • Je verkort doorlooptijden en vermindert stilstanden en faalkosten
  • Je leidt verschillende projecten
  • Je implementeert nieuwe processen, technologieën en werkwijzen
  • Je verzamelt en analyseert KPI's
  • Je zorgt voor actuele procesdocumentatie, werkinstructies en standaarden
  • Je borgt eenduidige en reproduceerbare werkwijzen
  • Je traint en begeleidt medewerkers bij nieuwe processen
  • Je zorgt voor gedragen en duurzame implementaties op de werkvloer
  • Je verhoogt veiligheids- en kwaliteitsnormen
  • Je identificeert en vermindert risico's
  • Je implementeert oplossingen met oog voor duurzaamheid
  • Je betrekt medewerkers actief bij optimalisaties
  • Je versterkt een innovatieve en proactieve verbetercultuur

Wat neem je mee?

  • Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een technische richting, zoals industriële wetenschappen, elektromechanica of een vergelijkbaar domein.
  • Relevante ervaring in een productieomgeving en bent vertrouwd met methodieken zoals Lean, Six Sigma en Kaizen.
  • Je beschikt over sterke analytische vaardigheden en kun je procesdata correct interpreteren en vertalen naar concrete verbeteracties
