Voor een gevestigde familiale productieonderneming in regio Gent zoeken we een procesoperator in 2 ploegen. Vanuit de Gentse haven groeide het bedrijf sinds 1990 uit tot een sterke naam binnen de voedingssector, met hoogwaardige producten die hun weg vinden naar professionele klanten.

Achter die producten zit een sterk uitgebouwde productieomgeving. Moderne installaties, geautomatiseerde processen en hoge eisen rond kwaliteit en hygiëne vormen hier de dagelijkse standaard. Er wordt voortdurend geïnvesteerd in de productiesite en in technieken die het proces efficiënter en duurzamer maken.

Op de vloer heerst een nuchtere sfeer. Collega's kennen elkaar, de communicatielijnen zijn kort en technisch inzicht wordt gewaardeerd. Als procesoperator krijg je verantwoordelijkheid over een belangrijk deel van het productieproces en de kans om je technische kennis verder uit te bouwen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als procesoperator stel je jouw installatie correct in, bedien je het proces en volg je de verschillende parameters nauwkeurig op
  • Daarnaast wissel je werkzaamheden op de productievloer af met procescontrole vanuit de stuurkamer, waardoor je zicht houdt op het volledige productieproces
  • Binnen jouw verantwoordelijkheid valt ook de halfautomatische verpakkingslijn, waarbij je toeziet op een correcte werking en de nodige kwaliteitscontroles uitvoert
  • Verder pak je kleinere onderhouds-, reinigings- en herstellingswerken zelfstandig aan zodat de installaties betrouwbaar blijven draaien
  • Qua opleiding beschik je over een technische achtergrond of bouwde je via werkervaring voldoende technische kennis op
  • Vanuit eerdere ervaring in productie of procesopvolging heb je bij voorkeur al voeling met machines en technische installaties, al zijn motivatie en technisch inzicht minstens even belangrijk
  • Technisch denk je logisch en analytisch, leer je graag bij en voel je je comfortabel bij het instellen, controleren en opvolgen van productie-installaties
