The posting

Je wordt procesoperator in een actieve staalfabriek in Velsen-Noord waar veiligheid, continuïteit en kwaliteit centraal staan. Je start elke dienst met een overdracht en neemt verantwoordelijkheid voor het monitoren van processen vanuit het stuurhuis. Tijdens je dienst stuur je bij, voer je controles uit en pak je, waar nodig, acties op de werkvloer. Je werkt in ploegendienst en rouleert over verschillende werkplekken, waardoor geen dag hetzelfde is. Je bent belangrijk voor de overdracht naar de volgende ploeg: je documenteert bijzonderheden, rapporteert voortgang en helpt zo het proces betrouwbaar te laten draaien. Er is ruimte om procesverbeteringen aan te dragen en met je team door te voeren. Als je praktisch ingesteld bent, veiligheid prioriteit geeft en ervaring hebt in een industriële omgeving, voel je je hier snel thuis. Functie-inhoud - Start je dienst met een overdracht en neem je alle relevante procesinformatie van de vorige ploeg mee. - Bewaken en bijsturen van het productieproces vanuit het stuurhuis en ingrijpen wanneer afwijkingen optreden. - Uitvoeren en coördineren van (klein) onderhoudswerkzaamheden in samenwerking met collega's en leidinggevende. - Bijhouden van voortgangsgegevens, wachtrapporten en overdrachtsdocumentatie zodat het proces naadloos doorloopt.

Functie-eisen - Minimaal mbo-3 werk- en denkniveau (bij voorkeur VAPRO B of vergelijkbaar) en aantoonbare werkervaring als operator. - Je werkt veilig, signaleert afwijkingen snel en grijpt zelfstandig en doortastend in wanneer dat nodig is. - Bereidheid om in ploegendienst te werken, te rouleren tussen werkplekken en netjes overdrachten te verzorgen. - Goede beheersing van Nederlands zodat je instructies, rapportages en overdrachten helder kunt uitvoeren.
