De organisatie werkt 24/7 in een productieomgeving en hanteert een 5 ploegenrooster waarbij procesoperators een centrale rol vervullen. In Zutphen worden productieprocessen en installaties continu bewaakt en bediend door operators die verantwoordelijkheid dragen voor de continuïteit van de productie en de naleving van werkvoorschriften. Procesoperators voeren eerste-lijns controles uit, signaleren afwijkingen en rapporteren deze volgens vastgestelde procedures. Veiligheid en kwaliteitsbewust werken zijn belangrijk in de dagelijkse werkzaamheden en worden ondersteund door duidelijke instructies en toolboxmomenten. Nieuwe medewerkers krijgen een gestructureerde inwerkperiode met begeleiding door ervaren collega's zodat zij snel vertrouwd raken met de bedieningsroutines en veiligheidsprotocollen. Daarnaast is er aandacht voor het ontwikkelen van operationele vaardigheden om door te kunnen groeien naar meer technische of leidinggevende rollen binnen de productieomgeving.
