Dit productiebedrijf vervaardigt brood en aanverwante eindproducten op semi-geautomatiseerde productielijnen. De productieafdelingen voeren het volledige proces van brood maken uit, van dosering van grond- en hulpstoffen tot het instellen en onderhouden van machines. Deze organisatie richt zich op het consequent leveren van hoogwaardige eindproducten en op het waarborgen van kwaliteit en hygiëne gedurende het gehele proces. De medewerkers in Avenhorn werken nauw samen op de productievloer en stemmen af met de technisch onderhoudsdienst bij complexere storingen. De operatoren stellen machines in, monitoren productielijnen, voeren eerste-lijns analyses uit bij afwijkingen en schakelen tijdig escalatie in wanneer dat nodig is. Er wordt gewerkt met geautomatiseerde en semi-geautomatiseerde apparatuur en aandacht voor nauwkeurigheid en procesbeheersing is essentieel. De functie vereist betrokkenheid bij het afstellen van recepten en het bijdragen aan continuïteit en leverbetrouwbaarheid richting klanten in de keten.
