Werken bij Batenburg - NL - (senior) process control engineer Een (senior) process control engineer houdt zich bezig met identificeren en specificeren van de benodigde besturings- en beveiligingsfuncties van (petro-)chemische fabrieken. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden De focus ligt bij dit vakgebied op het proces zelf; dat wil zeggen bij de vraag hoe een fabriek bedreven wordt en welke functies hiervoor nodig zijn (control) en welke gevaren/risicos er door middel van automatisering ondervangen moeten worden en de functies die daarvoor nodig zijn (safety). In zijn algemeenheid kan worden gezegd dat process control engineering de functionele specificaties levert voor de software van de DCS en Safeguarding systemen. Process control engineers werken nauw samen met process engineers aan het ontwerp van het proces om een optimale bestuurbaarheid van het proces te verkrijgen. Zij leveren daarbij ook veel input voor de proces ontwerpdocumenten, zoals de P&IDs. Procesveiligheid is een belangrijk onderwerp binnen de process control engineering. Process control engineers participeren daarom vaak in de veiligheidstudies (HAZOP, SIL assessment). Wie we zoeken Voor deze vacature zoeken wij een ervaren gemotiveerde kandidaat, die allround inzetbaar is op zowel het functionele als technische vlak. Afhankelijk van je seniority heb je in meer of mindere mate ervaring: - In het implementeren en configureren van technisch complexe oplossingen; - Als een professionele interface tussen eindgebruikers, ingenieursbureaus en DCS- leveranciers; - Met een professionele werkwijze zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband.
