And how do you establish whether quality requirements are clear, measurable and consistently achievable? At Trespa, these questions are central to the role of Quality Engineer. You monitor quality performance across our production lines, investigate product deviations and translate your findings into structural improvements. You also examine whether specifications and inspection methods provide the right basis for consistent product quality. Reporting directly to the Manager Engineering, you work closely with Production, R&D, Quality and our process and project engineers. Your role combines advanced statistical analysis with practical investigation on the shop floor and the ability to bring people together around technically sound solutions. Your role & responsibilities: You investigate the relationship between raw materials, process conditions and product quality. When deviations occur, you use production data, statistical analysis and practical observations to identify and substantiate their causes. Together with the relevant teams, you develop improvements, support their implementation and verify their effectiveness. Depending on the scope, you may also lead improvement projects yourself. You critically assess existing quality requirements. R&D is responsible for defining specifications; your role is to evaluate how these perform in practice and challenge them with evidence where necessary. Are we measuring the right characteristics? Can suppliers consistently achieve the agreed limits? And do those limits adequately reflect the needs of our production processes?
