The posting

Voor onze klant in Geel zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Process Safety Engineer / HAZOP-LOPA Lead om het team van interne HAZOP/LOPA Leads te versterken.

Dit team is verantwoordelijk voor veiligheidsstudies gedurende de volledige levenscyclus van equipment: van basic engineering tot en met as-built binnen projecten, maar ook voor de remediatie en periodieke herhaling van veiligheidsstudies op bestaande equipment.

Als HAZOP/LOPA Lead neem je het volledige HAZOP/LOPA proces op jou, van voorbereiding tot rapportering. Je analyseert en structureert veiligheidsrisico's en helpt veiligheidskeuzes binnen nieuwe en bestaande installaties te onderbouwen.

Je werkt onder andere rond equipment zoals reactoren, drogers, centrifuges, tanks en utilities.

Jouw rol

Als HAZOP/LOPA Lead:

  • Leid je HAZOP- en LOPA-studies van voorbereiding tot rapportering.
  • Werk je zowel binnen projecten als rond de remediatie en periodieke herhaling van studies op bestaande equipment.
  • Analyseer, structureer en onderbouw je veiligheidskeuzes voor nieuwe en bestaande installaties.
  • Stimuleer en ondersteun je het identificeren en ontwikkelen van technische oplossingen voor veiligheidsproblemen en -kansen in processen.
  • Werk je nauw samen met procesingenieurs, safety experts en (junior) HAZOP scribes.
  • Fungeer je als klankbord op het gebied van procesveiligheid.
  • Draag je actief bij aan een sterke focus op veiligheid binnen de verschillende studies en projecten.

We zoeken een ervaren professional die:

  • Kennis heeft van en ervaring heeft. met het leiden van HAZOP/LOPA-studies.
  • Een Master diploma behaalde binnen Ingenieurswetenschappen, bijvoorbeeld met een focus op chemische of procesveiligheidstechniek.
  • Ervaring heeft met HAZOP/LOPA binnen projecten én de remediatie van bestaande studies.
  • Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring heeft als HAZOP/LOPA Lead.
  • Ervaring heeft met PHA Pro.
  • Een sterke focus en diepgaand begrip van veiligheid heeft.
  • Technische veiligheidsproblemen en -kansen kritisch kan analyseren.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden heeft.
  • Assertief, kritisch en gestructureerd te werk gaat.
  • Goed kan samenwerken met verschillende technische stakeholders.
  • Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels spreekt en schrijft.
