Je komt terecht in een groeiende onderneming binnen de Gentse haven waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamwork centraal staan. Dankzij een uitgebreid opleidingstraject krijg je de kans om verschillende processen aan te leren en door te groeien binnen de organisatie.

Jobomschrijving

Als operator ben je betrokken bij verschillende stappen binnen het productie- en terminallingproces.

  • Je maakt mengelingen van chemische producten volgens klantenspecificaties en de geldende kwaliteitsnormen.
  • Je voert laad- en losactiviteiten uit van vrachtwagens met chemische producten.
  • Je staat in voor veilige verpompingen binnen de terminallingactiviteiten.
  • Je begeleidt het logistieke proces vanaf de ontvangst van grondstoffen tot de verzending van afgewerkte producten.
  • Je werkt volgens strikte veiligheids-, gezondheids- en milieuregels bij het behandelen van chemische stoffen.
  • Je biedt ondersteuning bij noodsituaties volgens de geldende procedures.
  • Je zorgt voor een veilige, nette en georganiseerde werkplek.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en draagt bij aan een positieve werksfeer.
  • Afhankelijk van jouw opleiding, ervaring en werkregime kunnen jouw verantwoordelijkheden verder uitbreiden.

  • Je hebt een opleiding in een chemische richting gevolgd of bent bereid je hierin te verdiepen.
  • Je hebt interesse in chemische processen en het werken met chemische producten.
  • Je bent bereid om een grondige productkennis op te bouwen.
  • Je beschikt over een heftruckattest of bent bereid dit te behalen.
  • Kennis van ADR-regelgeving is een pluspunt.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor detail.
  • Je hebt een sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Je blijft rustig en verantwoord handelen in onverwachte situaties.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig, maar bent ook een echte teamplayer.
