Onze klant, gelegen in regio Waregem, is wereldtop in zelflossers en kippers. Als Procurement Engineer zal jij het aankoopbeleid verder uitbouwen. Hierbij zal je contacten met leveranciers onderhouden én actief op zoek gaan naar nieuwe opportuniteiten. Je waarborgt de continuïteit van het productieproces. Benieuwd? Lees hier meer!

De functie inhoud Als technisch aankoper zien jouw taken er zo uit:

  • Samen met je collega’s bouw je het aankoopbeleid van onze klant verder uit, zowel voor de vestigingen in binnen- als buitenland. Het waarborgen van kwaliteit is hierbij cruciaal.
  • Jouw prioriteit? De continuïteit van het productieproces garanderen. Daarom volg je de bestelaanvragen nauwgezet op en fungeer je als schakel tussen de leverancier en het magazijn.
  • Je onderhoudt de contacten met de bestaande leveranciers en gaat actief op zoek naar potentiële nieuwe leveranciers.
  • Je vergelijkt de prijzen, de geleverde kwaliteit en de levertermijnen om zo tot de beste deal te komen.
  • Indien een samenwerking wordt opgezet, onderhandel je een correcte prijs en sluit je contracten af.
  • Om het eindproduct te blijven verbeteren, ga je proactief op zoek naar innovaties. Hiervoor stem je ook geregeld af met de leveranciers en het Engineering-team.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan het management.

Je specialiseert je hier namelijk in de breedte: aan de hand van je eigen interesses word je gestimuleerd om je carrièrepad uit te stippelen. Dit wordt er verwacht van een Procurement Engineer?

  • Aangezien je een strategische rol zal uitvoeren bij onze klant, beschik je bij voorkeur over een economisch en technisch diploma.
  • Jouw werk is steeds gestructureerd en je bent daarnaast stressbestendig. Als Procurement Expert zal je met cijfers en financiële gegevens omgaan.
  • Je haalt er dan ook energie uit om steeds de beste service aan de beste prijs te onderhandelen.
  • Je beheerst de Nederlandse taal en je schrikt er niet voor terug om ook Frans, Engels en (optioneel) Duits te praten wanneer nodig.
  • Omdat je zowel nationaal als internationaal werkt, zal je je op regelmatige basis naar het buitenland moeten verplaatsen.
  • Je bouwt een sterk netwerk rond je heen. Je bezoekt verschillende internationale vakbeurzen en leveranciers.
