The posting

Als Procurement Manager neem je de eindverantwoordelijkheid op voor het aankoopbeleid en de verdere professionalisering van de aankoopdienst. Je stuurt het aankoopteam aan, bewaakt de aankoopstrategie en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking tussen aankoop, engineering, productie en leveranciers. In deze rol combineer je strategisch inzicht met een hands-on aanpak en speel je een sleutelrol in de continuïteit van de supply chain.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor zowel de dagelijkse werking als de langetermijnontwikkeling van aankoop en voorraadbeheer. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met interne stakeholders en bouw je sterke relaties uit met externe partners. Je volgt marktontwikkelingen, prijsfluctuaties en technologische evoluties op de voet en vertaalt die inzichten naar concrete acties en verbeteringen.

Je taken omvatten onder meer:

  • Het aansturen, coachen en organiseren van het aankoopteam, met aandacht voor planning, prioriteiten en efficiënte samenwerking.
  • Het mee bepalen en uitvoeren van de aankoopstrategie, afgestemd op de noden van de organisatie en de technische omgeving.
  • Het opvolgen van technische aankoopdossiers, ERP-processen, voorraadbeheer en strategische componentgroepen.
  • Het onderhandelen over prijzen, contracten en leveringsvoorwaarden met leveranciers.
  • Het selecteren, evalueren en opvolgen van leveranciers op basis van kwaliteit, kostprijs en leverbetrouwbaarheid.
  • Het detecteren en implementeren van procesverbeteringen binnen aankoop en voorraadbeheer.
  • Het rapporteren aan de zaakvoerders en meedenken over structurele optimalisaties en groei.

Je bent iemand die graag verantwoordelijkheid opneemt, mensen mee krijgt in verandering en tegelijk oog heeft voor detail, efficiëntie en duurzame resultaten. In een omgeving waar kwaliteit, flexibiliteit en technische degelijkheid centraal staan, maak jij het verschil door structuur te brengen en vooruit te kijken.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een ervaren en gedreven professional met een sterke affiniteit voor technische aankoop en supply chain management. Je beschikt over een masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in een technische richting, en hebt minstens 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring binnen procurement, aankoop of supply chain, idealiter in een industriële of technische context.

Je combineert leidinggevende maturiteit met een analytische en pragmatische ingesteldheid. Je weet mensen te coachen, te motiveren en te verbinden, en je communiceert vlot met zowel interne teams als externe leveranciers. Daarnaast ben je sterk in onderhandelingen en kan je duurzame samenwerkingen opbouwen en onderhouden.

Jouw profiel omvat onder meer:

  • Een masterdiploma, bij voorkeur met technische achtergrond.
  • Minstens 5 tot 10 jaar relevante ervaring in aankoop, procurement of supply chain management.
  • Ervaring met technische aankoopdossiers, leveranciersbeheer en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Leidinggevende capaciteiten en een coachende stijl.
  • Sterke onderhandelingsvaardigheden en een duidelijke focus op samenwerking en resultaat.
  • Een analytische, nauwkeurige en stressbestendige manier van werken.
  • Het vermogen om zowel zelfstandig als in multidisciplinaire teams te functioneren.
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels; kennis van Frans en/of Duits is een pluspunt.
  • Een hands-on ingesteldheid en de drive om aankoopprocessen verder te professionaliseren.
