Voor een internationale onderneming met vestiging in Zele zijn we op zoek naar een Procurement & Sourcing Manager.

Maak jij het verschil in sourcing en aankoop, met een scherp oog voor efficiëntie én verbinding? Deze technische productieomgeving is op zoek naar een daadkrachtige Purchasing & Sourcing Manager die niet alleen impact realiseert binnen de eigen afdeling, maar ook mee het groeipad van een internationale speler ondersteunt. Stapsgewijs bouw je aan een duidelijke en toekomstgerichte aankoopstrategie voor drie locaties. Wie hier aan de slag gaat, is gedreven door optimalisatie, schakelt moeiteloos tussen strategisch en operationeel, en gelooft in coaching & samenwerking als hefboom voor succes. Je krijgt hier de kans je stempel te drukken in een context van voortdurende innovatie én menselijke verbinding.

Jobomschrijving

  • Je bent het aanspreekpunt en eindverantwoordelijke voor de aankoop- en sourcingstrategie op de sites
  • Je ontwikkelt en voert aankoopstrategieën uit die bijdragen aan groei en efficiëntie.
  • Je selecteert en evalueert leveranciers, onderhandelt prijzen en contracten en detecteert voortdurend nieuwe besparingskansen.
  • Je bouwt en verdiept leveranciersrelaties en bezoekt partners indien nodig, ook internationaal.
  • Je beheert risico’s binnen de supply chain en waarborgt samen met het team de continuïteit van productie en voorraad.
  • Je zorgt dat het aankoopbeleid consistent afgestemd is op de productieplanning en ondersteunt bij forecasting en voorraadbewaking.
  • Je blijft zelf ook operationeel betrokken bij aankoopdossiers en maakt het verschil, zonder dat je een pure people manager hoeft te zijn.
  • Je geeft richting aan, coacht en ontwikkelt een team van buyers verspreid over verschillende sites en regio’s. Je team bestaat uit een tiental mensen.
  • Je bevordert individuele groei, eigenaarschap en zelfstandigheid door gerichte feedback, evaluatiegesprekken en ontwikkelingsgerichte coaching.
  • Je begeleidt verandertrajecten, creëert draagvlak en zorgt voor duidelijke verwachtingen en prioriteiten.
  • Je combineert een coachende leiderschapsstijl met een hands-on mentaliteit en blijft inhoudelijk betrokken bij de aankoopactiviteiten.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operations Director.

Must haves:

  • Bachelor of masterdiploma, bij voorkeur in economie, supply chain, of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Je hebt reeds een eerste ervaring met het aansturen van een team.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in strategische aankoop binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Aantoonbare kennis en ervaring met sourcing en onderhandelingen op hoog niveau.
  • Pragmatisch, nuchter en resultaatgericht, met een coachende leiderschapsstijl.
  • Vlotte communicatie in het Frans (minstens vloeiend), Engels en professioneel Nederlands.
  • Bereid om regelmatig te reizen tussen de drie vestigingen (minstens twee keer per maand naar Roncq en Nivelles).
  • Kennis van SAP en sterke skills in stakeholdermanagement.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Ervaring met aankoop en sourcing op Europees niveau.
  • Kennis van actuele trends binnen identificatie- of veiligheidstoepassingen.
  • Ervaring met verandermanagement in een internationale context.
  • Goede luistervaardigheid en vlot in het voeren van lastige gesprekken, met name in het Frans.
  • Affiniteit met een open, resultaatgerichte bedrijfscultuur in een Amerikaanse groep is een plus.
