Als Product Buyer ben jij verantwoordelijk voor diverse productcategorieën en zorg je ervoor dat we de juiste producten inkopen tegen de juiste voorwaarden. Je maakt voor ons de beste deals! Je houdt rekening met kwaliteit, marge, interne handling, klantbehoefte en ontwikkelingen in de markt. Je onderhoudt relaties met leveranciers, voert zelfstandig onderhandelingen en weet commerciële kansen te vertalen naar concrete verbeteringen in het assortiment. Wat ga je doen? Je neemt eigenaarschap over het inkoopproces en de commerciële afspraken met leveranciers. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen onder andere Category Management, Supply Chain en Commercie. Je werkt mee aan: - Het selecteren en inkopen van producten - Onderhandelen over prijzen, marges, voorwaarden en contractafspraken - Invulling geven aan supplier Relationship management door het opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke relaties met bestaande en nieuwe leveranciers; - Volgen van marktontwikkelingen, trends en klantbehoeften - Signaleren en benutten van kansen om assortiment, rendement en samenwerking met leveranciers te verbeteren - Bewaken van gemaakte afspraken, resultaten en doelstellingen - Het borgen dat producten en leveranciers voldoen aan relevante wet en regelgeving, kwaliteitsnormen en duurzaamheidsvereisten (EUDR, FSC, OEKOTEX etc...)) - Afstemmen met interne stakeholders over ontwikkelingen, kansen en prioriteiten binnen jouw categorie Je krijgt daarbij veel ruimte om zelf richting te geven aan jouw werk.
