Voor onze klant te Zutendaal, actief in de productie van betonproducten, zijn we op zoek naar een Product Development Engineer.

Als Product Development Engineer werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten, toepassingen en technieken. Je combineert onderzoek, testing en projectopvolging met een sterke feeling voor productie, haalbaarheid en marktbehoeften.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je voert onderzoek, testen en experimenten uit om nieuwe producten, technieken en toepassingen te ontwikkelen.
  • Je vertaalt vragen uit de markt naar concrete en realiseerbare oplossingen.
  • Je werkt ideeën uit van conceptfase tot implementatie en bewaakt daarbij timing, budget en doelstellingen.
  • Je stelt projectplannen op en volgt de voortgang van projecten nauwgezet op.
  • Je analyseert technische uitdagingen en zoekt creatieve oplossingen met voldoende realiteitszin.
  • Je presenteert onderzoeks- en projectresultaten aan interne stakeholders.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Verkoop, Marketing, Productie, Engineering, Onderhoud en Logistiek om projecten succesvol te realiseren.
  • Je neemt initiatief in verbeteringsprojecten en denkt actief mee over innovatie binnen onze producten en processen.
  • Je volgt trends, evoluties en nieuwe technieken binnen productontwikkeling, bouw en materialen op.
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in productontwikkeling, engineering of een technische richting.
  • Je hebt ervaring als productontwikkelaar of engineer binnen een technische omgeving.
  • Affiniteit met de bouwsector is belangrijk; ervaring met beton is een mooie plus, maar geen must.
  • Je werkt graag zelfstandig en neemt ownership over jouw projecten.
  • Je bent organisatorisch sterk en weet verschillende stakeholders samen te brengen.
  • Je combineert creativiteit met technische haalbaarheid en pragmatiek.
  • Je houdt ervan om zaken uit te testen en bent graag hands-on betrokken bij onderzoek en prototypes.
  • Je denkt analytisch, werkt gestructureerd en behoudt overzicht.
  • Je bent ondernemend, nieuwsgierig en durft out of the box denken.
