De functie inhoud Ben jij creatief & heb je zin om aan de slag te gaan binnen het productontwerp? Dit is jouw kans:

  • Als Product development engineer stuur je de ontwikkeling aan van nieuwe producten.
  • Je houdt toezicht bij de ontwikkeling van producten, dit doe je zowel van concept tot industrialisatie.
  • Op vlak van kwaliteit ga jij zorgen dat alle productoptimalisaties worden geïdentificeerd en geïmplementeerd.
  • Je gaat projectmatig aan de slag met een gestructureerde stage-gate-aanpak.
  • Fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor leveranciers, verfijnen van ontwerpen en waarborgen van productiehaalbaarheid.
  • Als product developer biedt je technische ondersteuning en begeleiding aan interne en externe partners.
  • Verantwoordelijk voor de nauwkeurigheid en integriteit van productgegevens in het PLM-systeem.
  • Beheren van alle aspecten van nieuwe productontwikkelingsprojecten: projectmanagement, conceptontwikkeling, gedetailleerd ontwerp, prototyping, testen en productiestart.
  • Je rapporteert tijdig aan jouw leidinggevende.

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in industriële vormgeving of productontwikkeling
  • Ervaring binnen R&D en productontwikkeling is een sterke troef
  • Een technische en creatieve ingesteldheid met analytisch denkvermogen
  • Je kan vlot overweg met 2D en 3D ontwerptools
