The posting

Onze klant, RAS-AIS, uit Kortrijk is een verdeler van elektronisch beveiligingsmateriaal voor de professionele markt binnen België en Luxemburg. Tot hun producten behoren inbraak- en branddetectie, camerabewaking, toegangscontrole, alsook alle bijhorende accessoires (batterijen, voedingen, connectoren, ...). RAS/AIS bestaat uit 35 medewerkers en beschikt over moderne kantoorruimtes, grote showroom (200 m²), volledig uitgeruste opleidingsruimte en eigen magazijn dat tevens als afhaalpunt fungeert. Klanttevredenheid is essentieel, de klant staat dan ook in het middelpunt van hun aandacht. Voor onze verdere groei gaan we op zoek naar een Product Engineer.

  • Als Product Engineer combineer je technische productspecialisatie met digitale innovatie. Je verdeelt je tijd ongeveer gelijk tussen het uitbouwen van expertise in toegangscontrole- en CCTV-oplossingen enerzijds en het optimaliseren van interne en klantgerichte processen via Microsoft 365 en AI anderzijds..
  • Dankzij deze sterke productkennis ben je in staat om de klant te ondersteunen in al zijn technische noden. Je introduceert nieuwe systemen, organiseert opleidingen, geeft technisch advies, assisteert bij de opmaak van offertes, ... kortom je wordt het eerste aanspreekpunt van de klant en bouwt op deze manier een sterke professionele relatie op.
  • Daarnaast word je actief betrokken bij productontwikkeling en procesoptimalisatie (zeker op IT-vlak).
  • Je bent in het bezit van een bachelordiploma Elektronica - ICT (of aanverwant technisch of IT-diploma) of hebt een relevante werkervaring in de beveiliging, toegangscontrole of telecom als installateur of in een gelijkende functie. Ook schoolverlaters komen hiervoor in aanmerking!
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van de bedrijfsappilicaties van Microsoft 365 (en/of de koppelingen met ERP of SAP) en je interesse in AI zullen je vlot op weg zetten in je deeltijdse takenpakket om samen met je collega’s de workflow beter te stroomlijnen.
  • Je bent Nederlandstalig met een degelijke kennis Frans of bent bereid dit verder bij te schaven ‘on-the-job’ (en Engels is een plus).
  • Uiteraard ben je een echte problem solver: je haalt voldoening uit het oplossen van problemen en het realiseren van klantentevredenheid. Daarbij investeer je actief in het opbouwen van sterke relaties en neem je de tijd om je klanten en hun uitdagingen echt te leren kennen.
  • Daarnaast ben je ook een teamplayer en heb je een passie voor nieuwe technologie (AI).
