Voor een sterk groeiende internationale productieorganisatie in regio Kortrijk zoeken we een ervaren Product & Innovation Lead die de toekomstige product- en innovatiestrategie mee vormgeeft.

Je krijgt een sleutelpositie binnen de organisatie en bepaalt mee welke producten, technologieën en ontwikkelingsprojecten de komende jaren prioriteit krijgen. Daarbij combineer je strategie, productontwikkeling, innovatie, technologie en people management.

Dit is geen klassieke R&D-functie en ook geen pure people managementrol. Je kijkt breder dan individuele ontwikkelingsprojecten en bouwt mee aan een langetermijnvisie die innovatie rechtstreeks koppelt aan marktpotentieel, commerciële groei en rendabiliteit.

Wat Ga Je Doen

  • Je ontwikkelt een duidelijke langetermijnvisie rond innovatie en productontwikkeling en vertaalt deze naar concrete prioriteiten en acties.
  • Je bouwt productroadmaps uit die technische mogelijkheden verbinden met marktbehoeften, groeikansen en bedrijfsdoelstellingen.
  • Je stuurt product designers en projectmanagers aan en zorgt ervoor dat ontwikkelingsprojecten gestructureerd van concept tot marktintroductie worden gebracht.
  • Je bewaakt het volledige productontwikkelingsproces en zorgt voor duidelijke beslissingsmomenten, prioriteiten en ownership.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met R&D, Product Management en directie zodat technische ontwikkeling en commerciële strategie perfect op elkaar aansluiten.
  • Je identificeert nieuwe markttrends, technologieën en toepassingen en vertaalt deze naar concrete opportuniteiten voor het productportfolio.
  • Je beoordeelt welke innovatieprojecten het meeste strategische en commerciële potentieel bieden en helpt mee om de juiste investeringskeuzes te maken.
  • Je stimuleert een innovatiecultuur waarin nieuwe ideeën niet alleen ontstaan, maar ook effectief worden vertaald naar concrete producten en resultaten.

Wie Ben Je

  • Je beschikt over een Masterdiploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring binnen engineering, productontwikkeling, innovatie of een aanverwant domein.
  • Je hebt minstens 10 jaar relevante ervaring binnen productontwikkeling, innovatie, product leadership of een strategische technische managementfunctie.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een industriële of productiegerichte omgeving.
  • Je combineert een sterk strategisch inzicht met voldoende technische bagage om complexe ontwikkelingsvraagstukken te begrijpen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen en ontwikkelen van technische of productgerichte teams.
  • Je kunt technische mogelijkheden vertalen naar commerciële toepassingen, marktpotentieel en concrete businesscases.
  • Je bent sterk in stakeholdermanagement en kunt vlot schakelen tussen technische specialisten, commerciële stakeholders en directie.
  • Je denkt verder dan bestaande producten en kijkt actief naar nieuwe markten, technologieën en toekomstige groeikansen.
