Jobomschrijving

Als Product Ontwerper Containerglas werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van hoogwaardige matrijzen voor de productie van glazen verpakkingen. Je combineert technisch inzicht met sterke ontwerpvaardigheden en werkt nauw samen met productie, engineering, onderhoud en externe leveranciers. Zo draag je rechtstreeks bij aan een efficiënt productieproces en kwalitatieve eindproducten.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van nieuwe matrijzen, plunjers, vormdelen en andere gereedschappen voor de productie van glas
  • Optimaliseren van bestaande matrijsontwerpen met aandacht voor productkwaliteit, vormconsistentie en procesefficiëntie
  • Analyseren van productieproblemen die verband houden met matrijzen en uitwerken van geschikte technische oplossingen
  • Opstellen en beheren van 2D- en 3D-tekeningen en bijhorende technische documentatie
  • Adviseren van productie- en onderhoudsteams over materiaalkeuze, toleranties, afwerkingstechnieken en machine-instellingen
  • Ondersteunen van proefproducties en nieuwe productintroducties
  • Opvolgen en interpreteren van procesparameters en productieresultaten
  • Bijdragen aan de standaardisatie van matrijsontwerpen en productie-instructies
  • Opstellen van technische specificaties voor externe leveranciers en matrijsproducenten
  • Opvolgen van de productie, testen en kwaliteitscontrole van extern geproduceerde matrijzen
  • Bewaken van planning en budget bij de aankoop en ontwikkeling van matrijzen
  • Rapporteren over de prestaties, storingen en onderhoudsinterventies van matrijzen
  • Bijhouden van technische documentatie en kostenanalyses rond het gebruik en de levensduur van matrijzen
  • Vertalen van procesdata, trends en kwaliteitsfeedback naar structurele verbeteringen
  • Opvolgen van nieuwe technologieën op het vlak van mould design, duurzame materialen, productieprocessen en digitalisering
  • Meewerken aan verbeterprojecten binnen engineering en productie
  • Overleggen met productie, onderhoud, engineering en kwaliteit om ontwerpen optimaal af te stemmen op de operationele behoeften
  • Technisch ondersteunen en opleiden van collega's rond het correcte gebruik, onderhoud en de inspectie van matrijzen
  • Mee toezien op de naleving van veiligheids-, milieu- en kwaliteitsvoorschriften
  • Je beschikt minimaal over een bachelordiploma in Werktuigbouwkunde, Industrieel Ontwerpen, Materiaaltechnologie of een aanverwante technische richting
  • Je hebt ervaring met technisch ontwerp binnen de glasindustrie
  • Kennis van 3D CAD-systemen en CATIA is belangrijk voor deze functie
  • Je bent vertrouwd met toleranties, technische documentatie en normen zoals ISO en DIN
  • Technische problemen analyseer je grondig en vertaal je naar praktische oplossingen
  • Nauwkeurig werken en oog voor detail behoren tot je sterke punten
  • Je communiceert vlot in zowel Nederlands als Engels
  • Je bent klantgericht, innovatief en kwaliteitsbewust
  • Zelfstandig werken gaat je goed af, maar je functioneert even sterk binnen een multidisciplinair team
  • Je voelt je thuis in een dynamische en technisch uitdagende productieomgeving
