The posting

Als productie ingenieur in de lasserij sta je in voor het ontwikkelen, implementeren en optimaliseren van productieprocessen voor nieuwe lasconstructies, zodat deze veilig, kwalitatief en efficiënt kunnen worden geïntegreerd in zowel nieuwe als bestaande lay-outs. Het vastleggen van normtijden via tijdstudies vormt hierbij een belangrijk onderdeel.

Je vraagt de nodige hulpmiddelen, kalibers en gereedschappen aan en volgt de tijdige beschikbaarheid en opstart nauwgezet op. Daarnaast zorg je voor duidelijke en gestructureerde documentatie, zoals SOP's en werkinstructies.

Je bent regelmatig aanwezig op de werkvloer om de brug te slaan tussen theorie en praktijk, en stuurt processen bij waar nodig. Daarbij heb je steeds aandacht voor ergonomie en veiligheid, zodat operators optimaal en efficiënt kunnen werken met een constante kwaliteitsoutput.

Je werkt mee aan het ontwerpen van lascellen volgens lean-principes, met focus op een vlotte materiaalstroom, beperkte verplaatsingen en een efficiënte werkindeling.

Projectwerk, nieuwe technologieën en procesanalyse-tools maken integraal deel uit van je rol. Je verzamelt en analyseert data uit verschillende bronnen en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties om de productie continu te optimaliseren.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en draagt actief bij aan de verdere professionalisering van de lasserij en de succesvolle introductie van nieuwe producten.

  • Master- of bachelordiploma in een technische richting, of gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring. Ervaring als manufacturing engineer of binnen een lasomgeving is een troef.
  • Je bent in staat om lasplannen te lezen en te interpreteren, en begrijpt hoe lasconstructies correct worden opgebouwd.
  • Kennis van lasprocessen is een pluspunt; zelf kunnen lassen wordt beschouwd als een extra troef.
  • Je blijft rustig en doelgericht onder druk, neemt weloverwogen beslissingen en bewaart daarbij een goed evenwicht tussen afdelingsdoelstellingen en productie-output.
  • Je hebt een sterke zin voor initiatief, werkt graag samen in team en denkt actief mee in functie van continue verbetering.
  • Je beheerst zowel het Nederlands als het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.
  • Je bent vlot met MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint en Power BI) en hebt kennis van CAD/CAM of AutoCAD.
