Je komt terecht in een financieel gezonde West-Vlaamse KMO met ongeveer 85 medewerkers en meer dan 45 jaar ervaring in de hout- en meubelsector. Vanuit Houthulst produceert de onderneming halffabrikaten en decoratieve producten voor klanten binnen industrie, houthandel en retail in Europa en daarbuiten.

De organisatie combineert moderne machines met gespecialiseerde productietechnieken en wil haar operationele werking verder professionaliseren. Je krijgt daarbij een belangrijke positie tussen werkvloer en management. Structuur brengen in mensen, planning en processen

Je bewaakt de dagelijkse operationele werking en zorgt ervoor dat kwaliteit, planning, efficiëntie en teamwerking goed op elkaar aansluiten. Je bent aanwezig op de werkvloer, detecteert knelpunten en vertaalt deze naar concrete verbeteracties.

  • Je maakt de productieplanning op, volgt deze nauwgezet op en stuurt bij waar nodig.
  • Je onderzoekt processen en zoekt naar eenvoudigere en efficiëntere werkmethodes.
  • Je brengt stilstanden, verspilling en knelpunten in kaart en zet verbeteracties op.
  • Je volgt gemaakte afspraken op en zorgt ervoor dat verbeteringen worden verankerd.
  • Je vormt de schakel tussen de werkvloer en het management en zorgt voor een duidelijke informatiedoorstroming.
  • Je neemt beslissingen wanneer nodig en bewaakt tegelijk betrokkenheid binnen het team.

Je krijgt daarmee niet alleen verantwoordelijkheid voor de dagelijkse werking, maar ook voor de manier waarop de productie op lange termijn sterker en efficiënter kan worden georganiseerd.

  • Je communiceert helder en zorgt voor duidelijke verwachtingen en afspraken.

  • Je hebt interesse in kwaliteit, procesverbetering en efficiëntie.
  • Je analyseert problemen zorgvuldig en vertaalt ze naar haalbare oplossingen.
