The posting

Voor onze klant, een toonaangevende internationale marktleider in de metaalindustrie, zijn we op zoek naar een Productieleider. In deze functie ben je de drijvende kracht achter een veilige, efficiënte en kwalitatieve productie in de vestiging te Gent.

Jouw takenpakket:

  • Coördineren en organiseren van de dagelijkse productieactiviteiten en het nauwgezet opvolgen van de voortgang volgens planning
  • Dagelijks aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer en het aansturen, motiveren en coachen van een team van 40 tot 50 medewerkers (vaste krachten en uitzendkrachten)
  • Toezien op de strikte naleving van de richtlijnen rond veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu, orde en netheid
  • Analyseren van productieproblemen en het actief uitwerken van duurzame procesverbeteringen
  • Behandelen van productie-gerelateerde vragen en klachten en zorgen voor een efficiënte, klantgerichte oplossing
  • Nauw samenwerken met de Plant Manager en de collega's van planning, onderhoud, sales en andere interne afdelingen
  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma in een technische richting of bent gelijkwaardig door opgebouwde ervaring (kennis van thermisch verzinken of oppervlaktebehandeling is een pluspunt)
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een productieomgeving, inclusief ervaring met het coachen en organiseren van productiemedewerkers
  • Je beschikt over een uitgesproken hands-on mentaliteit, werkt planmatig en denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van MS Office (kennis van SAP en attesten voor heftruck, rolbrug of hoogtewerker zijn troeven)
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en hebt een basiskennis van het Engels en Frans
  • Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, bent flexibel ingesteld en streeft naar continue kwaliteits- en veiligheidsverbetering
  • Je bent bereid om te werken in een voltijds dagrooster van maandag tot en me vrijdag
