Terwijl op de werkvloer tientallen vakmensen tegelijk aan zo'n jacht bouwen, zorg jij als Productieleider dat jouw discipline - dek, interieur of de machinekamer - volgens planning, veilig en volgens de kwaliteitsnormen van Vitters Shipyard wordt afgebouwd. Dat in een omgeving waar geen dag hetzelfde is. Jouw rol als Productieleider Op één jacht werk je samen met meerdere voormannen, die ieder hun eigen discipline aansturen. Zij en hun mensen kunnen op jou terugvallen voor sturing, prioriteiten en duidelijkheid. Aansturing van je team Je zorgt dat je team elke dag met de juiste informatie, materialen en middelen aan de slag kan. Je denkt proactief mee: voordat je team een volgende stap zet, heb jij er al voor gezorgd dat er niets in de weg staat. Je bent zichtbaar en aanspreekbaar op de werkvloer - collega's weten je te vinden, en jij weet wat er speelt. Samenwerking en afstemming Je stemt voortdurend af - met de andere voormannen op hetzelfde jacht, met werkvoorbereiding, engineering, projectmanagement en onderaannemers - zodat alle disciplines die tegelijk aan boord actief zijn, zoals: constructie, machinekamer, elektra, dek en interieur, soepel op elkaar blijven aansluiten. Daarnaast bewaak je orde, netheid en veiligheid in jouw deel van de hal en signaleer je knelpunten voordat ze problemen worden.
