The posting

Als Operator binnen onze productie afdeling bevind je je in het kloppende hart van onze glasorganisatie. Je maakt deel uit van één van onze drie subafdelingen: Batch & Furnace, IS of Mould. Elk van deze afdelingen heeft zijn eigen specialisatie; van het mengen en smelten van grondstoffen tot het vormen van glas en het onderhouden van de mallen. Binnen elk van de operatorfuncties ligt de nadruk van de verantwoordelijkheden en belangrijkste taken anders, afhankelijk van waar je terecht zal komen, bestaat je takenpakket uit volgende taken:

  • Je zorgt voor een goede ontvangst van grondstoffen en glasscherven, door deze te analyseren en administratief correct af te handelen voor ontvangst
  • Je bedient de mixinstallaties op continue basis vanuit de controlekamer en geeft abnormaliteiten door en probeert deze onmiddellijk te verhelpen
  • Je voert regelmatig checks uit op de recepturen in het systeem, volgt de niveaus van de silo’s op en escaleert indien nodig
  • Je voert controles uit op grondstoffen, receptuur, luchtvochtigheid, temperatuur, zuurstof, mixers, druppel- of flesmonsters... om kwaliteit, veiligheid en hygiëne hoog te houden
  • Je reinigt op regelmatige basis de afdeling met inbegrip van mixinstallaties, transportbanden, filters, silo’s,...
  • Je treedt als eerste op bij technische storingen en escaleert indien nodig
  • Je zorgt vanuit de controlekamer voor een stabiel smeltproces door de parameters en metingen te overzien en de rapporten hiervoor aan te vullen
  • Je voert bepaalde onderhoudswerken uit gelinkt aan de glasoven (furnace)
  • Je voorziet ploegenoverdracht op het einde van je shift aan je opkomende ploeg

Afhankelijk van de afdeling waar je terecht zal komen, zijn er ook andere profielvereisten. Onze recruiters bekijken en bespreken dit uitvoerig met jou tijdens het selectieproces. Volgende criteria zijn belangrijk:

  • Je hebt ervaring binnen een productieomgeving of bent gemotiveerd om hierin ervaring op te doen
  • Je staat open om trainingen in dagdienst te volgen op diverse trainingslocaties
  • Je kan met een computer werken
  • Je spreekt zeer goed Nederlands (Engels is een pluspunt)
  • Je draagt actief bij een aan fijne teamsfeer en bent hulpvaardig naar collega’s
  • Je bent flexibel naar takenpakket toe, zeker in opstartfase
