The posting

Onze klant maakt kunststofproducten die je waarschijnlijk vaker tegenkomt dan je denkt. Van toepassingen in automotive en HVAC tot verpakkingen, bouw en technische producten. Ze verwerken onder meer EPS, EPP en EPE tot matrijsgevormde producten, volledig afgestemd op de behoeften van hun klanten. Het is een financieel gezonde, familiale KMO met een lange geschiedenis en een ambitie voor de toekomst. Vanuit Beernem werken ze aan innovatieve oplossingen voor klanten in verschillende sectoren.

In aanloop naar de pensionering van de huidige verantwoordelijke, zoeken we een Productieverantwoordelijke die techniek en mensen kan combineren.

Jobomschrijving

Als Productieverantwoordelijke neem je, in dagdienst, de dagelijkse leiding over onze EPS/EPP productie (een 30- tal machines) in Beernem. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor een performant productieproces, een gemotiveerd team en een veilige werkomgeving. Je stuurt de productie aan met een vooruitziende blik: wat moet wanneer geproduceerd worden, welke capaciteit is beschikbaar en hoe zorgen we ervoor dat de juiste producten op het juiste moment klaar zijn?

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • de productieplanning opmaakt en opvolgt, rekening houdend met levertijden, productietijden, bezetting, stockagecapaciteit en klantafspraken;
  • samen met de ploegbazen de productie organiseert en ervoor zorgt dat de juiste producten op het juiste moment en volgens de vereiste kwaliteitsnormen geproduceerd worden;
  • een team van een 30-tal medewerkers aanstuurt en motiveert binnen een productieomgeving die in 3 ploegen werkt;
  • bij nieuwe producten de machines mee instelt en zorgt voor optimale procesparameters en recepten;
  • waakt over een efficiënte inzet van grondstoffen en tijdig de nodige materialen laat bestellen;
  • mee instaat voor de goede werking van de stoomketel, een belangrijk onderdeel van ons productieproces;
  • nauw samenwerkt met onze techniekers om onderhoud en technische interventies zo efficiënt mogelijk te laten verlopen;
  • de veiligheid binnen de productieomgeving bewaakt en verder uitbouwt;
  • samen met je team voortdurend zoekt naar manieren om processen te verbeteren, efficiëntie te verhogen en verliezen te beperken;
  • meedenkt over nieuwe technologieën, uitbreidingen en toekomstige investeringen .

Je beschikt over:

  • minimaal een bachelor werk- en denkniveau, met een technische of elektromechanische achtergrond;
  • minimaal 3 jaren leidinggevende ervaring in een technische productieomgeving;
  • een sterke interesse in techniek en productieprocessen;
  • voldoende technische bagage om processen, machines en problemen snel te begrijpen;
  • sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een vlotte kennis van Nederlands en Engels;
  • een praktische, probleemoplossende en resultaatgerichte ingesteldheid.
  • ervaring met Lean, 5S of andere methodes voor productieoptimalisatie – en digitalisatie is mooi meegenomen.

Daarnaast ben je iemand die:

  • graag verantwoordelijkheid neemt en beslissingen durft te nemen;
  • medewerkers weet te motiveren en duidelijkheid kan brengen;
  • rustig blijft wanneer de planning onder druk komt te staan;
  • klantgericht en flexibel ingesteld is;
  • voldoening haalt uit een productieproces dat goed, veilig en efficiënt draait;
  • graag verbeteringen en digitalisering realiseert in plaats van ze alleen te bespreken.
