Weet jij hoe je een productieproces slimmer en efficiënter maakt? Heb je kennis van lastechnieken en denk je graag mee over maakbaarheid? Bij VDL Konings in Swalmen zoeken we een Production Engineer die ons productieproces naar een hoger niveau tilt.

Jouw rol als Production Engineer Je zorgt dat ons productieproces goed blijft werken en je verbetert het waar mogelijk. Je maakt deel uit van de afdeling Production Engineering. Deze afdeling werkt nauw samen met de productie en de ontwikkelteams. Je werkt mee aan nieuwe producten en aan rationaliseringsprojecten die passen bij onze groeiplannen. Je combineert theorie met praktijk en werkt samen met collega's uit de werkplaats en andere engineeringafdelingen.

- Je denkt mee en adviseert over maakbaarheid - Je bent het technische aanspreekpunt bij productieproblemen - Je analyseert en lost productietechnische problemen op - Je stelt werkinstructies op en houdt deze up-to-date - Je ontwikkelt en verbetert processen en productiemiddelen zoals mallen en gereedschappen - Je draagt bij aan investeringsprojecten voor nieuwe productiemiddelen - Je start nieuwe projecten op in de productie - Je bewaakt en verbetert de kwaliteit - Je stelt specificaties op voor benodigde productietooling - Je ondersteunt de ontwikkelteams, NPI en werkvoorbereiding op technisch gebied

Wat wij van jou vragen Je bent expert in productietechnieken, vooral lassen en/of robotlassen. Je werkt graag samen in een team en vormt de schakel tussen engineering, NPI en productie.

- Een goed analytisch vermogen om problemen op te lossen - Een afgeronde hbo-opleiding Werktuigbouwkunde of vergelijkbaar - Ervaring met industriële maak- en engineeringstechnieken in de machinebouw is een pré - Kennis en ervaring met de ontwikkeling van productiesystemen - Kennis van SPC en Lean Six Sigma is een pré
