Voor onze klant, een gekende speler binnen zijn niche, is Hays Antwerpen op zoek naar een production engineer.

Deze organisatie is een gevestigde speler binnen de industriële productie en staat bekend om haar sterke focus op kwaliteit, vakmanschap en operationele betrouwbaarheid. Het bedrijf combineert een moderne productieomgeving met een no‑nonsense werkcultuur waarin teamwork, veiligheid en continu verbeteren centraal staan.

Jouw nieuwe functie

In deze veelzijdige functie combineer je technische berekeningen met een sterke aanwezigheid op de productievloer. Je ondersteunt de Plant Manager in de dagelijkse werking van de site en draagt actief bij aan een efficiënte en kwalitatieve productie.

Voor kandidaten met ambitie biedt deze functie bovendien een duidelijk groeipad. Op termijn krijg je de kans om bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen. Je verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ondersteunen van de Plant Manager bij de dagelijkse aansturing van de productie.
  • Opvolgen van planning, capaciteit en bezetting binnen de productieomgeving.
  • Actief aanwezig zijn op de werkvloer om processen te analyseren en verbeteringen te identificeren.
  • Uitvoeren van constructieve berekeningen voor betonelementen.
  • Bepalen van wapening en technische specificaties op basis van lasten en afmetingen.
  • Vertalen van technische berekeningen naar duidelijke uitvoeringstekeningen in AutoCAD.
  • Samenwerken met interne engineering- en studieteams om technische oplossingen verder uit te werken.
  • Meewerken aan optimalisatieprojecten rond kwaliteit, efficiëntie en productieprocessen.

Jouw profiel

  • Master of bachelor in een technische richting, bij voorkeur Bouwkunde, maar ook kandidaten met een achtergrond in Elektromechanica komen in aanmerking.
  • De ideale kandidaat heeft minstens 5 jaar ervaring in een ruwere productieomgeving.
  • Ervaring als projectleider, werfleider, productie-ingenieur of stabiliteitsingenieur vormt een meerwaarde.
  • Affiniteit met bouw, staalconstructies of een industriële productieomgeving.
  • Kennis van AutoCAD.
  • Communicatief sterk en vlot in Nederlands en Engels.
  • Hands-on ingesteld en graag aanwezig op de werkvloer.
  • Ambitie om op termijn bijkomende verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen binnen een productieomgeving.
