In de regio Kortrijk kom je terecht bij een organisatie die actief is binnen een specifieke niche van de voedingsindustrie. Naast verschillende internationale vestigingen telt de lokale site meerdere honderden medewerkers. De onderneming maakt bovendien deel uit van een beursgenoteerde multinational, wat zorgt voor een sterke financiële basis en verdere groeimogelijkheden.

Je krijgt er het beste van twee werelden: de dynamiek en korte lijnen van een West-Vlaamse productieomgeving, gecombineerd met de slagkracht van een internationale groep. Door een interne verschuiving in verantwoordelijkheden is de organisatie op zoek naar een Production Line Manager die mee het verschil maakt op de productievloer.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor één productielijn binnen jouw departement
  • Je stuurt rechtstreeks een team van ongeveer 7 medewerkers aan, waaronder een Maintenance Engineer, Process Engineer en 5 shiftverantwoordelijken, die elk een team van operatoren aansturen
  • Dagelijks ben je aanwezig op de productievloer om je medewerkers te coachen, te ondersteunen en de performantie van jouw productielijn verder te verbeteren
  • Ook budgettair neem je verantwoordelijkheid op, beheer je het interimteam en zorg je voor extra versterking wanneer dat nodig is
  • Verder waak je samen met je team over optimale productkwaliteit en een veilige werkomgeving
  • Je hebt een masterdiploma in Elektromechanica, Automatisatie, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen, Levensmiddelentechnologie, Chemie of een gelijkaardige richting
  • Je kan terugblikken op minstens 3 à 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een productieomgeving
  • Ervaring met Lean Management is een sterke troef; een Green Belt of Black Belt geeft je extra voorsprong
