The posting

Als Production Manager neem je de dagelijkse leiding over een dynamische, projectmatige productieomgeving in de regio Kuurne. Je zorgt ervoor dat mensen, machines, materialen en planning optimaal op elkaar zijn afgestemd, zodat hoogwaardige eindproducten veilig, correct en binnen de voorziene deadlines worden afgewerkt. Je geeft direct leiding aan een team van ongeveer 40 ateliermedewerkers en teamleaders. Samen met een sterk productieaansturend team van planners en assistenten bouw je aan een efficiënte werking en een gestroomlijnde organisatie op de werkvloer.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruit zien?

  • Je organiseert en coördineert de dagelijkse productieactiviteiten en stuurt capaciteit en prioriteiten proactief bij.
  • Je bent aanwezig op de productievloer, coacht de teamleaders en ateliermedewerkers en ondersteunt hen in hun ontwikkeling.
  • Je bewaakt de voorraad, de magazijnwerking en de correcte registratie van goederen- en productiestromen.
  • Je zorgt samen met de betrokken collega's voor een betrouwbaar machinepark en een nauwgezette uitvoering van het operationele onderhoud.
  • Je volgt productiegegevens op en zet rapportering, digitalisering en procesverbetering in om de werking continu te optimaliseren.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met Engineering, QHSE en HR en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Operations Manager.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je beschikt bij voorkeur over een technisch bachelordiploma gecombineerd met ervaring. Relevante en praktische ervaring weegt even zwaar, ervaring uit de praktijk is een sterke troef!
  • Je bent een enthousiaste, duidelijke en toegankelijke peoplemanager die teams weet te motiveren, mee te krijgen en te inspireren.
  • Je brengt structuur in een omgeving waarin volumes, prioriteiten en deadlines snel kunnen veranderen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met productieplanning, procesverbetering en het sturen op basis van KPI's en data.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met een ERP-systeem binnen een productieomgeving (ervaring met Dynamics 365, digitalisering, magazijnbeheer of onderhoud is een pluspunt).
