Bij Konnekt zijn we op zoek naar een Production Manager.

Een productieomgeving draaiende houden is één ding. Mensen, planning, techniek én processen samen naar een hoger niveau tillen, is iets anders. Voor een sterk groeiende, internationaal actieve onderneming in regio Kortrijk zoeken we een Production Manager die graag dicht bij de werkvloer staat en tegelijk het overzicht bewaart over de volledige productieorganisatie.

Je komt terecht in een technische en projectmatige productieomgeving waar maatwerk centraal staat. Geen klassieke hoogvolumeproductie dus: orders, volumes en prioriteiten kunnen veranderen en vragen om iemand die snel kan schakelen zonder kwaliteit, veiligheid of mensen uit het oog te verliezen.

Als Production Manager neem je de dagelijkse leiding over de productie. Je werkt nauw samen met de verschillende teamleaders en bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de vloer. Peoplemanagement en technisch inzicht zijn hier minstens even belangrijk.

Tegelijk kijk je verder dan de planning van vandaag. Je analyseert resultaten, detecteert verbeterpunten en denkt mee na over hoe processen, samenwerking en productie verder geoptimaliseerd kunnen worden.

Functieomschrijving Als Production Manager zorg je ervoor dat mensen, planning, machines en materialen optimaal op elkaar afgestemd zijn.

Concreet betekent dit dat je:

  • De dagelijkse productie organiseert en coördineert binnen een technische maatwerkomgeving.
  • De productieplanning bewaakt en capaciteit, medewerkers en machines afstemt op de lopende orders en deadlines.
  • De verschillende teamleaders en productiemedewerkers coacht en aanstuurt.
  • Dicht bij jouw teams staat en zorgt voor duidelijke communicatie, verwachtingen en opvolging.
  • De voortgang van productie, kwaliteit en levertermijnen bewaakt en snel bijstuurt waar nodig.
  • Productiedata en KPI's opvolgt en vertaalt naar concrete verbeteracties.
  • Initiatieven neemt rond efficiëntie, kwaliteit, veiligheid en continuous improvement.
  • Productieprocessen kritisch analyseert en zoekt naar mogelijkheden om slimmer en efficiënter te werken.
  • Meewerkt aan verdere digitalisering en professionalisering van de productieomgeving.
  • Mee waakt over een efficiënte materiaal- en goederenstroom binnen productie.
  • Zorgt voor een goede afstemming tussen productie en de verschillende ondersteunende technische afdelingen.
  • Nauw samenwerkt met onder andere Production Engineering, Quality, HSE en HR.
  • Rapporteert aan de Operations Manager en actief meedenkt over de verdere ontwikkeling van de productieorganisatie.
  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma, bij voorkeur binnen een technische richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring binnen een technische productieomgeving, waarbij je ook verantwoordelijkheid over mensen hebt opgenomen.
  • Ervaring binnen maatwerk of een projectmatige productieomgeving
  • Je combineert technisch inzicht met sterk peoplemanagement en voelt je comfortabel in beide aspecten van de functie.
  • Je bent graag aanwezig op de werkvloer en staat dicht bij jouw teamleaders en medewerkers.
  • Je weet mensen mee te krijgen in veranderingen en verbeteringen, maar durft ook duidelijke verwachtingen te stellen.
  • Je behoudt het overzicht wanneer planning en prioriteiten veranderen en kan snel de juiste beslissingen nemen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met productieplanning, KPI-opvolging en procesoptimalisatie.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met ERP-systemen. Ervaring met Dynamics 365 is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent proactief, pragmatisch en oplossingsgericht.
  • Nederlands beheers je op C2-niveau en kan je professioneel uitdrukken in het Engels.
