Jouw rol als Productontwikkelaar binnen Westfort Retail Als productontwikkelaar bij Westfort Retail krijg je de unieke kans om proactief betrokken te zijn bij het bedenken, ontwikkelen en implementeren van nieuwe producten en concepten. Daarnaast ben je betrokken bij het verbeteren van bestaande producten, volledig afgestemd op de wensen van onze klanten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van de recepturen naar de productievloer en speelt een centrale rol in het gehele ontwikkelproces, inclusief procesoptimalisatie en -bewaking. In deze rol werk je nauw samen met veel verschillende disciplines binnen Westfort en ben jij, naast de NPD-specialist, de spil tussen de afdeling QESH, Operations en externe leveranciers. Je rapporteert aan de Innovation & Development Manager en werkt veel met hem samen. Je maakt deel uit van een jong, hecht en bevlogen team dat dagelijks streeft naar de beste en lekkerste producten. Dit ga je doen: - Vertalen van briefings naar creatieve en haalbare productconcepten; - Zelfstandig ontwikkelen, testen en optimaliseren van vleesapplicaties, met name op het gebied van houdbaarheid, voedselveiligheid, bereiding en opschaling; - Beoordelen van grondstoffen, halffabricaten en eindproducten op kwaliteit en duurzaamheid; - Hand- en pilotmonsters maken en representatieve samples verzorgen; - Organiseren en uitvoeren van interne proefsessies (met de klant) of extern; - Recepturen en productspecificaties (gronds...
