The posting

MOOOV is een sterke professionele en geëngageerde culturele organisatie die vooral in Turnhout en Brugge actief is met het MOOOV-filmfestival en een uitgebreide jaarwerking over heel Vlaanderen. Focus ligt op het programmeren van wereldfilms, documentaires, jeugdfilms, kortfilms en experimentele films, zowel voor een volwassen publiek als voor scholen, kinderen en jongeren.

In 2028 opent MOOOV in Turnhout het eigen filmhuis Faaar met 3 zalen. Ook het aanbod voor scholen, kinderen en jongeren zal een grote plaats krijgen binnen Faaar.

MOOOV is op zoek naar een programmator filmwijsheid. Heb jij affiniteit met wereld- en arthousecinema en ben je vertrouwd met het onderwijs en de eindtermen? Ben je een creatieve denker én een hands-on doener, die graag programma’s en projecten uitwerkt en samenwerkingen opzet? En heb je vooral veel zin om kinderen en jongeren te inspireren en warm te maken voor film? Dan maken we graag verder kennis! Solliciteren kan tot en met 28 september.

Opdracht:

Als programmator filmwijsheid sta je in voor de programmatie van wereld- en arthousecinema voor kinderen en jongeren. Je werkt hierbij aan een aanbod voor zowel het onderwijs als de vrije tijd, waarbij je artistieke keuzes combineert met een sterke focus op publiekswerking en samenwerking.

- Je zorgt voor de opvolging en verdere uitwerking van ons bestaande aanbod voor scholen, kinderen en jongeren.

- Daar waar je kansen ziet, ontwikkel je nieuwe programma-onderdelen en projecten, die je ook zelf uitvoert.

In jouw aanpak staat samenwerken met lokale en bovenlokale culturele organisaties, jongerenwerkingen, festivals, bioscopen en scholen centraal.

Aangezien MOOOV in 2028 het eigen filmhuis FAAAR opent in Turnhout, is een actieve betrokkenheid op de stad en de ruime regio rond Turnhout belangrijk.

Je vertegenwoordigt MOOOV binnen het onderwijsnetwerk, zowel lokaal, bovenlokaal als op Vlaams niveau.

Competenties

- Je durft initiatief nemen en bent een creatieve denker.

- Je deinst er tegelijkertijd niet voor terug je handen uit de mouwen te steken.

- Je bent een netwerker en hebt voeling met zowel de film- en cultuursector als het onderwijs.

- Je bent sterk in organiseren en houdt van projectmatig werken.

- Voor een groep spreken, een inleiding geven of een gesprek modereren schrikken je niet af.

- Je bent zelf ‘filmwijs’ en vertrouwd met de eindtermen van het onderwijs.

- Je hebt voeling met verschillende doelgroepen en weet hoe in te spelen op hun noden.

- Je gaat heel zelfstandig aan het werk maar houdt er tegelijk van om samen met de andere collega’s van MOOOV ideeën uit te werken.
