The posting

Als Application Engineer Automation werk je mee aan industriële automatisatieprojecten binnen verschillende sectoren, zoals Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Pharma en Chemie. Afhankelijk van het project werk je vanuit het kantoor of op locatie bij de klant.

  • Ontwerpen, programmeren en testen van besturingssoftware voor PLC-, DCS- en HMI/SCADA-systemen.
  • Vertalen van gebruikersspecificaties en functionele eisen naar technische oplossingen en functionele specificaties.
  • Ontwikkelen en configureren van besturingen in samenwerking met de klant en het projectteam.
  • Uitvoeren van simulaties, softwaretesten en FAT- en SAT-tests.
  • Ondersteunen bij de inbedrijfname van nieuwe software en installaties op locatie.
  • Analyseren en oplossen van technische problemen tijdens de verschillende projectfasen.
  • Deelnemen aan projectmeetings en zorgen voor een goede technische afstemming met klanten en collega's.
  • Opstellen en onderhouden van technische documentatie, gebruikershandleidingen en rapporten.
  • Verzorgen van technische opleidingen voor klanten en gebruikers van de ontwikkelde systemen.
  • Samenwerken met projectleiders, engineers en andere stakeholders om projecten kwalitatief en volgens planning uit te voeren.
  • Opvolgen van de voortgang van toegewezen werkzaamheden en tijdig signaleren van technische aandachtspunten.
  • Bijdragen aan een betrouwbare, efficiënte en onderhoudsvriendelijke werking van de ontwikkelde automatiseringsoplossingen.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een technisch sterk profiel met een interesse in industriële automatisering. Zowel ervaring als een sterke technische basis zijn belangrijk binnen deze functie.

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in elektromechanica, industriële automatisering, engineering of een vergelijkbare technische richting.
  • Ervaring binnen industriële automatisering of procesautomatisatie is een pluspunt.
  • Kennis van PLC-, HMI/SCADA- en/of DCS-systemen.
  • Basiskennis van PLC-programmatie en interesse in verdere verdieping binnen automatisering.
  • Ervaring met I/O-bussystemen vormt een extra troef.
  • Kennis van ISA88, functionele veiligheid, SIL of IEC-normen is mooi meegenomen.
  • Een VCA-attest of ervaring met veilig werken op industriële sites is een pluspunt.
  • Een analytische ingesteldheid en het vermogen om technische problemen gestructureerd te onderzoeken.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden voor het overleg met klanten, collega's en andere projectpartners.
  • Een praktische en oplossingsgerichte aanpak bij technische uitdagingen.
  • Zelfstandigheid in het uitvoeren en opvolgen van toegewezen werkzaamheden.
  • Een goede teamspirit en bereidheid om kennis te delen met collega's.
  • Verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en aandacht voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en correcte opvolging.
  • Bereidheid om zich te verplaatsen naar verschillende klanten binnen de Benelux.
