Projecten met een hoge technische complexiteit vragen om financiële scherpte die verder gaat dan rapportering alleen. In deze rol draait het om het vroeg detecteren van risico's, het doorgronden van afwijkingen en het actief bijsturen van projecten zodat rendabiliteit en cashflow onder controle blijven.

De organisatie is actief in een sterk technologische, industriële context waar engineering, automatisering en projectgedreven werking centraal staan. Projecten lopen internationaal, combineren hardware en software en bevinden zich vaak op het snijvlak van innovatie en schaalbaarheid.

Als Project Controller fungeer je als financiële sparringpartner voor projectmanagement. Je vertaalt cijfers naar inzichten, bewaakt de financiële gezondheid van projecten over hun volledige lifecycle en draagt actief bij aan betere besluitvorming binnen finance en operations.

Project Controller - Functieomschrijving:

  • Projectcontrolling & forecasting: je analyseert projectresultaten doorheen alle fases, bewaakt budgetten, cashflow, WIP en marges en signaleert afwijkingen of risico's op een proactieve manier.
  • Business partnering: je ondersteunt projectmanagers bij kostenbeheersing, rendabiliteit en facturatie, en zorgt dat financiële inzichten effectief landen in de operationele realiteit.
  • Verbetering & governance: je optimaliseert financiële processen, KPI's en rapportering rond projecten en speelt een actieve rol bij de implementatie van nieuwe IT- en rapporteringstools.

Project Controller - Profiel:

  • Financiële expertise: master- of bacheloropleiding in finance, economie of business, aangevuld met minstens vijf jaar ervaring als project controller binnen een project- of engineeringgedreven omgeving.
  • Analytisch & gestructureerd: sterke vaardigheden in analyse, rapportering en forecasting, met vlotte omgang met Excel en analytische tools; ervaring met SAP-PS is een duidelijke meerwaarde.
  • Communicatief & zelfstandig: je communiceert vlot in Nederlands en Engels, werkt autonoom en weet financiële informatie helder over te brengen naar niet-financiële stakeholders.
