Bij Smiemans Projecten realiseren we bijzondere en technisch uitdagende publiekstoegankelijke glasconstructies in binnen- en buitenland. Van complexe kassen en botanische tuinen tot unieke glazen gebouwen: geen project is hetzelfde en standaardoplossingen zijn eerder uitzondering dan regel. We combineren engineering, techniek en jarenlange praktijkervaring om ontwerpen te vertalen naar constructies die daadwerkelijk gebouwd kunnen worden. Dat vraagt om technisch inzicht, creativiteit, verantwoordelijkheid en vooral mensen die van techniek houden en graag een stap extra zetten. Wie ben jij? Als Project Engineer ben je iemand die techniek ademt . Je wilt begrijpen hoe iets werkt, waarom het zo ontworpen is en vooral hoe het slimmer, beter en efficiënter kan. Een technisch probleem laat je niet zomaar liggen: je zoekt door totdat je de oorzaak én een werkbare oplossing hebt gevonden. Je combineert technisch inzicht met praktisch verstand en een sterke werkmentaliteit. Je kijkt verder dan alleen de tekening en denkt vanuit productie, montage, kwaliteit, planning én kosten . Werkt een detail op papier, maar wordt het in productie of montage onnodig ingewikkeld of duur? Dan signaleer je dat en kom je met een beter alternatief. Je wacht daarbij niet af. Ontbreekt er informatie, dan ga je erachteraan. Is een voorstel van een leverancier technisch niet logisch, dan stel je vragen. Zie je een risico of een kans om iets beter te doen, dan pak je die op. Eigenaarschap vinden we belangrijk. Een actie is voor jou niet afgerond omdat je een e-mail hebt verstuurd; hij is afgerond wanneer het benodigde resultaat er ligt. En als een project daarom vraagt, ben je bereid een extra stap te zetten. Kortom: we zoeken geen engineer die alleen zijn taken afwerkt, maar een technisch gedreven aanpakker die verantwoordelijkheid neemt, doorpakt en energie krijgt van co...
