Project Engineer Civiele Techniek EEN KIJKJE IN HET VAK Hoe ziet het werk van een Project Engineer Civiel er in de praktijk uit? Op basis van gesprekken met onze eigen Project Engineers hebben we de belangrijkste aspecten van het vak voor je op een rij gezet. 1. Je ontwerpt de civiele basis van de railinfrastructuur Als Project Engineer Civiel zorg je voor de civiele inpassing van de railinfrastructuur in de openbare ruimte. Je werkt aan ontwerpen voor onder andere trambaanfunderingen, afwateringssystemen, kabel- en leidingtracés, verhardingen en de aansluiting op de bestaande omgeving. Afhankelijk van het project houd je je ook bezig met funderingen, bodemvraagstukken, infiltratie van hemelwater en kunstwerken. Daarbij vertaal je technische richtlijnen, projecteisen en de bestaande situatie naar een integraal en uitvoerbaar ontwerp. 2. Je begeleidt het volledige engineeringsproces Je bent betrokken vanaf de eerste ontwerpideeën tot en met de uitvoering buiten. Je werkt ontwerpen uit in CAD, stelt SSK-ramingen op, beoordeelt bodemonderzoeken en schrijft RAW-bestekken waarmee de aannemer het werk kan uitvoeren. Tijdens de realisatie blijf je betrokken als technisch aanspreekpunt en ondersteun je de uitvoering bij inhoudelijke vraagstukken. Zo zie je hoe jouw ontwerp stap voor stap werkelijkheid wordt. 3. Je zorgt dat alle disciplines perfect op elkaar aansluiten Binnen railinfra draait alles om integraliteit. Een hoogteverschil van enkele millimeters kan al invloed hebben op de spoorligging, afwatering of de levensduur van de constructie. Daarom stem je ontwerpen continu af met collega's van Sporen, Wissels en Stroomvoorziening. Je houdt rekening met raakvlakken tussen disciplines en werkt toe naar één integraal ontwerp waarin alle technische onderdelen naadloos op elkaar aansluiten. 4. Je werkt aan projecten met maatschappelijke impact Of het nu gaat om een nieuwe remise, een spoorvernieuwing of de herinrichting van een drukke...
