De engineeringactiviteiten omvatten ontwerp en modellering, leveranciersafstemming, testen en validatie, analyse en optimalisatie en consultatie en coördinatie. De werkzaamheden kennen een sterke focus op mechanisch ontwerp met ondersteuning van FEM-software voor sterkte- en dynamische analyses. Prototyping en het opzetten van proefopstellingen behoren tot de taken en worden zowel intern uitgevoerd als gecoördineerd bij externe partners. Projectplanning en het bijsturen tijdens de realisatiefase maken deel uit van het dagelijks werk.
