The posting

Voor een langdurig en strategisch programma binnen device assembly zijn we op zoek naar een ervaren Project Engineer Assembly. Je ondersteunt een lopend project rond de opzet en optimalisatie van een manueel assemblageproces, met parallel de ontwikkeling richting (semi-)automatisatie.

Het project situeert zich in een hoog gereguleerde omgeving en focust op de assemblage van zeer kleine, complexe medische devices. De initiële scope ligt op het manueel proces, maar je werkt mee aan de fundamenten voor toekomstige automatisering. Dit maakt de rol uitermate geschikt voor iemand die houdt van pionierswerk, technische diepgang en zichtbare impact op operations.

Jouw rol

Als Project Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het coördineren én technisch mee aansturen van het volledige traject:

  • Coördineren van projectplanning, budget en scope
  • Technisch inhoudelijk mee sturen van assemblage- en equipmentoplossingen
  • Ondersteunen bij inbedrijfstelling van machines en processen
  • Nauwe samenwerking met engineering, operations en andere stakeholders
  • Vertalen van bestaande processen (o.a. via tech transfer) naar een lokale, robuuste implementatie
  • Actief aanwezig op de vloer: opvolging in cleanroomomgeving
  • Meewerken aan de roadmap richting (semi-)automatische assemblage

Deze rol bevindt zich op het snijvlak van Project Management en Process Engineering. We zoeken een ervaren profiel dat zich comfortabel voelt in complexe, gereguleerde omgevingen:

  • Sterke technische affiniteit met equipment
  • Ervaring in een gereguleerde productieomgeving (GMP is een sterke troef)
  • Hands-on mentaliteit: je stuurt niet alleen aan, je doet ook mee
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en intrinsieke motivatie
  • Ervaring met manuele assemblage en/of automatisatietrajecten is een plus

Dit is geen standaard productielijn, maar een uniek en complex project met veel uitzoekwerk en technische uitdaging.
