Een gevestigde onderneming in de regio Kortrijk, actief in de metaalbewerking, is op zoek naar een Junior Project Engineer ter ondersteuning van het ervaren projectteam. Deze organisatie, gespecialiseerd in maatwerkconstructies in staal, inox en aluminium, staat bekend om haar kwaliteit, precisie en klantgerichte aanpak. Met meerdere zusterbedrijven onder één groep behoort ze tot de belangrijkste spelers in West-Vlaanderen binnen haar niche. De firma stelt ruim 100 medewerkers tewerk, verspreid over verschillende sites, en realiseert jaarlijks een omzet van meer dan 25 miljoen euro. Ze koppelen industriële slagkracht aan een familiale werksfeer waarin medewerkers centraal staan en ruimte krijgen om te groeien.

In deze rol ondersteun je de Project Engineers bij de voorbereiding, opvolging en uitvoering van uiteenlopende technische projecten. Je krijgt de kans om jouw kennis in praktijk om te zetten, begeleiding te ontvangen van ervaren collega’s en stap voor stap door te groeien binnen de organisatie. Deze functie biedt een stevig fundament voor een veelbelovende loopbaan in projectmanagement binnen een technische productieomgeving.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Je werkt nauw samen met de Project Engineers en ondersteunt hen bij dagelijkse taken, met de mogelijkheid om door te groeien naar een volwaardige Project Engineer-rol
  • Productiedossiers worden door jou aangemaakt en beheerd in het ERP-systeem, waarbij je zorgt voor een correcte en volledige verwerking van projectgegevens
  • Je stelt gedetailleerde materiaallijsten op en implementeert controlemechanismen om de kwaliteit en nauwkeurigheid van projecten te waarborgen
  • Werkdossiers bereid je voor door werkmethodes, kwaliteitsrichtlijnen en certificeringen te verwerken, inclusief de bepaling van insteltijden
  • De projectplanning stel je op, waarbij je rekening houdt met deadlines, specificaties en de vereisten van elk project
  • Een Bachelor in Elektromechanica of Industrieel Ontwerp heb je succesvol afgerond
  • Ideale kans voor pas afgestudeerden die zich willen ontwikkelen binnen een groeiend KMO-bedrijf
  • Zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels kan je vlot communiceren, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling
