Als Projectengineer Automation word jij de stuwende kracht achter een geavanceerde Cabinefabriek in de regio Antwerpen / de Kempen. In deze rol vorm je de verbindende schakel tussen complexe techniek en de bedieners van de machines. Je combineert grondige PLC-kennis met een no-nonsense mentaliteit, sterke communicatie en een passie voor de dynamiek op de werkvloer. Je bent van haalbaarheidsstudie tot de finale implementatie op de vloer verantwoordelijk voor automatiseringstrajecten. De nadruk ligt momenteel op de schaalvergroting van bestaande zones en het verder professionaliseren van de procesaansturing.

Takenpakket

  • Projectbeheer: Bewaken van de technische uitrol, doorlooptijden en de bijbehorende kosten van projecten.
  • Techniek in de praktijk: Implementeren en in bedrijf stellen van PLC-besturingssystemen.
  • Expert support: Fungeren als back-up voor de onderhoudsdienst bij ingewikkelde storingen.
  • Standaardisatie: Opstellen van technische specificaties en het vastleggen van protocollen en standaarden voor de toekomst.
  • Innovatie: Werken binnen een productieomgeving waarin de afgelopen jaren honderden miljoenen euro's aan vernieuwingen zijn geïnvesteerd.

Gewenst profiel

  • Opleiding & Ervaring: Een bachelor- of masterdiploma met 2 tot 3 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen een productieomgeving.
  • PLC Expert: Diepgaande beheersing van Siemens S7 en TIA Portal, plus het vlot kunnen lezen van elektrische schema's.
  • Systeemkennis: Bekend met SCADA (WinCC/TIA) en bij voorkeur ervaring met protocollen zoals Profinet of OPC-UA.
  • Flexibiliteit: Bereidheid om mee te draaien in een wachtsysteem vanwege het kritische productieproces (telefonische bereikbaarheid buiten reguliere uren en beschikbaarheid bij noodsituaties op zaterdag).
  • Methodiek: Inzicht in de principes van Lean Manufacturing en Six Sigma.
  • Persoonlijkheid: Analytisch ingesteld, servicegericht en sociaal zeer vaardig. Je bent geen type dat enkel achter een scherm zit, maar spreekt de taal van de werkvloer, schakelt snel en staat graag tussen de medewerkers en de machines.
  • Talen: Vlotte communicatie in het Nederlands en het Engels.
