The posting

Als Electrical Utilities Engineer (Project Ingenieur Elektrische Nutsvoorzieningen) bij Ciner Glass Lommel werk je mee aan de verdere uitbouw en technische oplevering van de elektrische infrastructuur van onze gloednieuwe glasfabriek.

Je neemt ownership over verschillende elektrische projecten en volgt deze op van uitvoering en testing tot commissioning en technische oplevering. Daarbij combineer je technische expertise met een hands-on aanwezigheid op het terrein.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je coördineert elektrische projecten en bewaakt planning, kwaliteit, veiligheid en technische uitvoering.
  • Je volgt werkzaamheden op het terrein op en zorgt dat technische problemen en openstaande punten worden opgelost.
  • Je beoordeelt elektrische schema’s, plannen, technische documentatie en voorstellen van leveranciers.
  • Je ondersteunt commissioning, testing, inspecties, keuringen en technische opleveringen.
  • Je analyseert storingen en technische afwijkingen en zoekt samen met betrokken partijen naar de root cause en duurzame oplossingen.
  • Je bewaakt een correcte technische documentatie en as-built informatie.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met engineers, techniekers, IT, leveranciers, subcontractors en externe keurings- en studiebureaus.
  • Je bent technisch aanspreekpunt voor leveranciers en subcontractors en bewaakt afspraken rond scope, timing en kwaliteit.

Projecten

Je werkt onder andere mee aan de technische opvolging van:

  • zonnepanelen en omvormers;
  • branddetectie en brandveiligheid;
  • laagspanningsinstallaties binnen Cold End en Warehouse;
  • UPS-systemen;
  • MV/LV-installaties, transformatoren, substations, switchgear en verdeelborden;
  • toegangscontrole en badgesystemen;
  • camerabewaking.

Je durft leveranciers technisch uit te dagen en spreekt hen aan wanneer kwaliteit, uitvoering of timing niet aan de afspraken voldoet. Tegelijk communiceer je diplomatisch en werk je constructief samen met verschillende interne en externe stakeholders.

  • Bij voorkeur beschik je over een bachelor- of masterdiploma in elektrotechniek, elektromechanica, energietechnologie, industriële elektriciteit of een vergelijkbare technische richting. Relevante ervaring kan hierbij minstens even belangrijk zijn
  • Een sterke technische basis in industriële elektriciteit en elektrische installaties is essentieel
  • Bij voorkeur heb je ervaring met MV/LV, transformatoren, elektrische distributie, verdeelborden, UPS-systemen en industriële laagspanningsinstallaties
  • Ervaring met branddetectie, toegangscontrole, camerabewaking, zonnepanelen of aanverwante elektrische projecten is een sterke troef
  • Daarnaast heb je ervaring met technische projectopvolging, commissioning, engineering, testing en/of troubleshooting binnen een industriële omgeving
  • Elektrische schema's, plannen en technische documentatie kun je lezen, interpreteren en kritisch beoordelen
  • Je hebt kennis van relevante elektrische veiligheidsnormen en regelgeving
  • Ervaring binnen een greenfield-, brownfield-, commissioning- of start-upomgeving is een sterke troef
  • Hands-on werken past bij jou: je voelt je even comfortabel op de werkvloer als tijdens technisch overleg
  • Met een analytische, pragmatische en oplossingsgerichte aanpak laat je technische problemen niet los voordat er een werkbare oplossing ligt
  • Meerdere projecten en prioriteiten tegelijk bewaken vormt geen probleem en je weet structuur te brengen in een dynamische omgeving
  • Sterke communicatie- en onderhandelingsvaardigheden stellen je in staat professioneel om te gaan met leveranciers en subcontractors
  • Je stelt je diplomatisch op, maar durft tegelijkertijd voldoende kritisch en assertief te zijn wanneer de technische situatie dit vereist
  • Ook wanneer de druk toeneemt, kun je relativeren en rustig blijven en zoek je naar oplossingen in plaats van naar schuldigen
  • Initiatief en ownership nemen gaat voor jou vanzelf: je wacht niet tot iemand jou exact vertelt wat de volgende stap moet zijn
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands en Engels, of bent bereid je hierin verder te ontwikkelen.
