Onze klant is een toonaangevende terminaloperator in de Port of Antwerp-Bruges, gespecialiseerd in de opslag en behandeling van bulkproducten. Vanuit meerdere terminals combineren zij technische expertise met een no-nonsense aanpak en een sterke focus op veiligheid, duurzaamheid en operationele uitmuntendheid.

Jobomschrijving

De projectafdeling heeft een ijzersterke reputatie opgebouwd in het behalen van strakke deadlines binnen de CAPEX-targets. Voor deze dynamische omgeving zijn wij op zoek naar een gedreven professional die de rol opneemt van Project Manager. Als Project Manager draag je de eindverantwoordelijkheid over de volledige CAPEX-projectportefeuille van dit Belgische bedrijf, waarbij je complexe logistieke, technische en strategische vereisten vertaalt naar concrete projectresultaten. Je fungeert als bouwheer, start projecten 'vanaf een wit blad' en zorgt ervoor dat alle projecten tijdig, binnen budget en conform de geldende veiligheids- en kwaliteitsvereisten worden gerealiseerd. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het:

  • Beheren en begroten van de gehele CAPEX-projectportefeuille, waarbij je budget, planning en scope nauwgezet bewaakt en tijdig bijstuurt.
  • Samenwerken, aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van het project engineeringsteam en het vlot onderhouden van relaties met diverse stakeholders, van bedrijfsleiders en autoriteiten tot vakmensen op de werkvloer.
  • Vertalen van klant specifieke behoeften naar creatieve logistieke en technische concepten voor onder meer tankparken, energieprojecten, afvulinstallaties, ….
  • Uitwerken van in-house engineering concepten tot uitvoeringsplannen (inclusief 3D) en het opstellen van technisch en economisch haalbare lastenboeken.
  • Onderhandelen op een diplomatische en tactische manier met contractoren en leveranciers om pragmatische en kostenefficiënte oplossingen te garanderen.
  • Toezien op de naleving van alle veiligheids-, milieu- en kwaliteitsvereisten, waaronder het bewaken van risico's, compliance en vergunningsverplichtingen op de werf.
  • Opleveren en valideren van installaties, het opmaken van onderbouwde business cases, de realisatie van het as-built dossier en het realiseren van een gestroomlijnde overdracht naar Operations en Onderhoud.
  • Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de plant manager en werkt nauw en op een pragmatische manier samen met je peers in o.a. de onderhouds- en operations afdeling.
  • Masterdiploma in een technische richting (of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
  • Minimaal 7 jaar projectmanagementervaring binnen de industrie of (petro)chemie.
  • Hands-on expertise met CAPEX-projecten, in-house engineering (from scratch) en multidisciplinaire aansturing en samenwerking.
  • Kennis van Seveso, ADR en technische normen (of bereid dit te leren).
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels, kennis van Frans is een troef.
  • Fysiek fit voor veldinspecties (ook op hoogte).
  • Ondernemende mindset: nieuwsgierig, leergierig en uitgerust met scherp technisch, economisch en operationeel inzicht.
  • Daadkrachtig: hakt snel knopen door en stelt zich oplossingsgericht en flexibel op.
  • Teamspeler: communiceert moeiteloos op elk niveau en respecteert de rollen van collega's.
  • Veiligheidsambassadeur: vanuit 100% projecteigenaarschap borg je veiligheid van initieel ontwerp tot op de werkvloer.
