The posting

Voor een toonaangevende speler in internationale logistieke dienstverlening zoekt onze partner in Willebroek een Project Manager Food Logistics die strategische plannen vertaalt naar concrete verbeteringen op de werkvloer. In deze rol krijgt hij/zij de ruimte om een nieuw filiaal mee op te starten, processen te verankeren en teams te verbinden in een omgeving waar kwaliteit en continu verbeteren centraal staan. De verantwoordelijkheden voor deze functie zijn:

  • Je vertaalt de strategische roadmap naar duidelijke acties, prioriteiten en een haalbare planning.
  • Je leidt projecten end-to-end: van analyse en ontwerp tot implementatie, nazorg en bijsturing.
  • Je bouwt schaalbare operationele processen uit en optimaliseert flows met focus op efficiëntie en service.
  • Je implementeert nieuwe klanten en key accounts en zorgt voor een vlotte opstart binnen de operationele organisatie.
  • Je stuurt op KPI's en performantie-indicatoren en maakt verbetervoorstellen op basis van data en inzichten.
  • Je verbindt stakeholders (operations, sales, IT, quality) en bewaakt samenwerking over teams en locaties heen.
  • Je begeleidt medewerkers in nieuwe werkwijzen en zorgt dat verandering duurzaam wordt verankerd.
  • Je waarborgt kwaliteit en compliance binnen food logistics (o.a. HACCP/GDP) en bewaakt afspraken en standaarden.
  • Je signaleert groeikansen binnen de foodsector en draagt bij aan verdere uitbouw van de activiteiten.

De vereiste kwalificaties zijn:

  • Je hebt 5–10 jaar relevante ervaring binnen transport/logistiek, bij voorkeur in een internationale context.
  • Je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met projectmanagement en het implementeren van operationele verbeterprojecten.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur kennis van Food Logistics of temperatuurgecontroleerde supply chains.
  • Je combineert een sterk analytisch vermogen met een hands-on mentaliteit en ownership.
  • Je hebt ervaring met change management en procesoptimalisatie (mensen meekrijgen én resultaten neerzetten).
  • Je communiceert vlot en professioneel in Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Je kan stakeholders aligneren, verwachtingen managen en teams motiveren richting één gezamenlijk doel.
