Als Project Manager Machinebouw ben je verantwoordelijk voor het succesvol leiden en coördineren van complexe machinebouwprojecten van begin tot eind. Je fungeert als de verbindende schakel tussen klanten, interne afdelingen en externe partijen. Met jouw technische kennis en projectmanagementvaardigheden zorg je ervoor dat projecten binnen de gestelde tijd, budget en kwaliteitseisen worden opgeleverd. Je analyseert klantbehoeften, vertaalt deze naar technische specificaties en stuurt een multidisciplinair team aan om innovatieve oplossingen te realiseren. Jouw dagelijkse werkzaamheden omvatten: - Het opstellen en beheren van projectplanningen, budgetten en resources; - Het aansturen en coachen van projectteams bestaande uit engineers, technici en externe partners; - Het identificeren en mitigeren van projectrisico's; - Het onderhouden van contact met klanten en rapporteren over de voortgang; - Het bewaken van de technische kwaliteit en veiligheid binnen projecten; - Het initiëren en implementeren van procesverbeteringen; - Het bijdragen aan commerciële activiteiten zoals tenders en klantpresentaties.

Binnen deze functie krijg je de mogelijkheid om door te groeien naar Senior Project Manager of Operations Manager. Daarnaast kun je je specialiseren in specifieke technische domeinen zoals robotica of automatisering, of je ontwikkelen in de richting van technisch consultant waar je strategisch advies geeft aan klanten over hun technische uitdagingen.
